Temple seems to look at applicants pretty holistically. Have they granted you an interview yet? If so, you have a pretty decent shot and it just comes down to making a good impression!

I got my acceptance email last Friday but I didn't check the status until Monday, by which time the status said "accepted."

I doubt anyone who interviewed that week heard anything. I interviewed 10/30 and other people who interviewed with me did not hear back anything (except for the one dude on here who did but he was MD/PhD).
I interviewed on 11/6 and just heard back today via snail mail.
What did you hear back?
waitlisted or as they put it "on the continuing candidates" list
Where are you from? I'm about 40 minutes south of Temple in Delaware.

Yes, I received one earlier this week.
Oh yes, they interview through, like, February.
For those that got waitlisted did your status change on TMO. I interviewed on 10/10 still no word. Starting to get worried my application has gone missing 😕.
You prob weren't discussed at the committee. You would have received something in the mail if you were by now.
Haha, I am sure your application hasn't gone missing. Maybe your interviewer is a very busy man/woman who just took a long time to submit a report. The told us during the interview that it will take them 3-6 wks to give us response. You have not reached the 6 wk mark yet, so DO NOT WORRY! They will get to ya and I hope they will accept you. Good luck and try not to worry 🙂.
I interviewed a few days before you and am in the same position; my status still says "interview complete." So, hopefully that gives you some solace.
Thanks! Yea, I was kidding about it going missing but of course with this process you always think the worst rather than being rational.

I come home from work every day just praying I don't have a letter from Temple!
No no no! I was complete super late last year, interviewed super late and still made the waitlist. It's way too early to give up hope. Send letters! Indicate interest! You're not out of the woods yet!

When did you interview and when did you get the your letter? And I guess your online status still says "Interview Complete"

Actually, there were a few people on my interview day who had problems w/ their SS#'s and I was one of them (I interviewed a few days later than you). I just got a call from the school telling me that it wasn't showing up properly (and found out my acceptance; my status hasn't changed yet though), so issues like that could be interfering with the process.
I thought they met last week and weren't meeting again until December
The lady in admissions just told me this week.
Ugh. -_- Well the emails won't be sent until tonight. I pray I'll be receiving one!

Oh really? So if you interviewed 11/6 and you do not get an email tonight you can assume waitlist/reject? Did they tell you that in admissions or has that just been the way its been done judging by the thread?
I was informed of my acceptance for MD/PhD yesterday afternoon by email. I have known about my acceptance for the MD program since Nov. 15th.
No...If you don't receive an email tonight, it may mean you were WL or rejected, but if you don't receive anything in the mail from them prob by Wednesday next week, then it means you weren't discussed at the meeting. That's what happened to me and I interviewed 10/30. Hoping and praying for an acceptance here.

Apparently the committee already met at some point this week. That is all I know.
Maybe they met to discuss the MD/PhD candidates, because Ace received an email yesterday of his PhD acceptance.
Just got the acceptance email! So I guess the committee did meet today (I think they said during the interview day that they meet on Fridays)! So excited 🙂. Interviewed 11/5, OOS. Please PM for stats...or just to chat 🙂.
