Congrats on your acceptance! If you join the FB group there is a spreadsheet everyone who is searching for roommates is filling out 🙂

I joined the "UCF College of Medicine" FB group but not really sure where the spreadsheet is. Is it on a post somewhere?
 
It's great to see movement on the WL. Excited to meet some of these new faces in August! Just signed my lease today and I will officially be an Orlando resident at the end of this month! I'd love to arrange some time to get people together before class starts. Who is already in Orlando?

Just got the call! Goodbye cold Midwest, welcome back FLORIDA!!!! In-state, interviewed end of January, waitlist first 50% of middle 1/3! Time to buy some UCF swag!

Hey all! Longtime lurker here.
For all you who have been admitted and haven't joined the FB group yet: you should do it. The MS1s/2s/etc are super helpful, and there are a couple of google docs floating around to help with people in need of roommates. (If you aren't and you are looking to rent a house: I found mine through Trulia, and I can't recommend that website/app highly enough.) Also, if you need any tips about the area, give me a shout. I moved in May 1 and I am in love with this area of Orlando, much to my surprise.

If you haven't heard back yet: I hope you hear soon and I hope to have you as a classmate in the fall!
 
Can anyone shed some light on whether OOS students are offered scholarships? Would love to apply here this upcoming cycle but oos tuition is holding me back...
 
Good to see some OOS movement since it seems to be lagging. Anyone know what part of the list we’re at for OOS?
 
Today, M1s finished their last final and became M2s. Weeks ago most M2s finished Step 1 and became M3s. Now we're ready to take on the next generation of UCF medical students and continue to impact all aspects of healthcare from the bench to the bedside. Go Knights!
 
As of today (early this morning), I am all moved in and an official Orlando resident. Excited to get acclimated to the area and rest up before August. This is easily the most excited yet terrified I have ever been 🤣

Is it weird if someone lower than you on the wait list got off the wait list before you? Hmmm is anyone else in that boat?

I would think it's possible. Especially if you already have an acceptance and the person below you doesn't.

Absolutely possible. I have heard of it happening many times at UCF. They are pretty flexible especially if you show enthusiasm in the school.

You might have been given your wait list standings on different dates (after the list changed) or one of you might remember your place incorrectly. Either way, I always viewed my place as a good faith estimate for planning purposes and not a binding commitment.
 
Are people buying the full doctor's bag? I've heard varying responses on whether or not you need the whole thing
