2015-2016 Drexel University Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My status still says "No decision available" ...does that mean they haven't finished reviewing my file? Or does Drexel put you "on hold" like that for forever before rejecting you?

It means they haven't reviewed your file yet...keep checking the portal once/twice a week according to admissions

OOS and my stats aren't anything special so I'm pumped:banana: 30 and 3.6

I've been out of college for two years now working in clinical research though

Did not get an e-mail but my portal now says my file is complete and will be reviewed, which changed from yesterday. 🙂

My status just changed to "Your file is now complete and will be reviewed." Did this happen to anyone else?

Edit: I submitted the secondary on 8/4, and all my LoR's were in when my AMCAS was verified on 6/22.

This might be a dumb question but where did you guys see the "Your file is now complete and will be reviewed" status?

Click on "View your Decision "

Not to be confused with the other entry in the portal where it will say "Complete" as soon as you've submitted everything. 🙄 Here I thought I was complete for 4 weeks...

Oh thanks! Mine still says "No decision is currently available". Is that the pre-completion status? I got a completion email a few days ago though...

Yes! Finally movement!! Literally just changed to "will be reviewed". Was complete with them 8/20

Mine only said no decision is currently available. Never saw the under review status before it changed to the interview invite

Received complete email on 8/28. My status also changed today from "no decision" to "your file is complete and will be reviewed."

I also got a file complete email on 8/28, but I still have "no decision is currently available" on the student portal

I actually never got a complete e-mail, but my status today changed to the "Review" status from the "No decision" status...

My status also changed from "no decision" to "complete/will be reviewed." Submitted 8/5.

I've been "complete" for quite some time, but the status did change today. I think they just changed the generic "No decision" status to "Review" status in the system, so they probably mean the same thing.

I don't think that it was a system-wide change. I'm still listed as "No decision."

I would agree with you about the system wide change if I wasn't complete in early August when people who submitted at the end of August were getting the status change.

Status changed to "Your file is and complete and will be reviewed. " lol i received the complete email 8/20

I had my interview today. Would be happy to answer any questions
Overall feel of the interview? Open or closed file? Conversational or somewhat intense? Typical questions or any out of the box?

Thanks 🙂

I received the complete email on 9/15, LOR had been uploaded on 9/14. My status on the portal currently says no decision

Overall feel was very friendly and relaxed. We started with an orientation from 9-10 with information on the programs and opportunities at the university. From 10-12 we had four half-hour blocks where each applicant had a different schedule. The four blocks were: essay [ethical], interview, attend a class, and break. From 12-1:30 we ate lunch with current first year students and were given a tour of the facilities. Interview was 1-on-1 for 30 minutes, strictly. One faculty member interviewed applicants for about 10 minutes each, as was his style. Interview was open file. My interviewer had a sheet of loose leaf with (hand-written) my GPA, MCAT and what I assume were questions that she generated by looking through my application. Very conversational with typical questions. Overall very positive experience.
