I turned mine in July 2 and they confirmed it on July 3. My application status is, "Your application is under review." Just to put things in perspective 🙂

I just wrote the Why Georgetown essay. It currently stands at 5,400 characters, which amounts to 1.5 pages single-spaced. Anyone else turn in an essay that long and get an interview invite?
I'm not sure the status changes. Mine still says "your application is under review." I just gained an "interview" tab.

I got this secondary 7/1 and have been stupidly putting it off behind all my other one's I've had to write. Will it be a killer to my app that it took me more than 3 weeks to turn it in?
If you are a good candidate, there is no way they are rejecting you because you turned your secondary in 3 weeks! They all know we get so many secondaries at the same time that it takes some time to complete.
So... who else is scared crapless about this?

As soon as the week of 7/13 applicants begin receiving tons of interviews, my panic will ensue. Lolol
Mine was 2 pages and I got an interview.
Also, for those who have scheduled interviews, is September 9 the earliest day?
Mine was about a page single spaced lol.
September 9th was the earliest day when I scheduled.
My interview is scheduled for August 25th.

Haha very true. Sadly I still see myself refreshing this thread every 5 minutes. Best of luck to everyone else. Georgetown interviews a solid number of people, so don't hold out hope!

Any idea what that means? I submitted my secondary with them on the 11th and my MCAT scores were released on the 21st. So does this mean they've already reviewed me app but....they made no decision? I never even got an email saying my application was complete after my mcat scores were released.

Many of us in this thread have the same status despite our application being complete (my app was complete with scores and letters and everything when I sent in my secondary), so it's not because of your MCAT scores. It means they haven't made a decision yet, so your app is on hold. It looks like quite a few people here have gotten a II after being on hold, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Oh, i didn't realize others had talked about this. I scanned all the other posts and don't see anyone mention this status. I haven't even received an application complete email so i am a bit confused as to how it's already been reviewed. This is my first status update from any school and it's rather disappointing!
Yeah, agreed on the disappointing bit. GW doesn't send application complete emails as far as I know; I didn't get one either.

I love how I didn't notice that either. (I'm applying to both schools... I better not do this later in the cycle too.)
I'm applying to both schools as well and I keep mixing them up. Who thought it was a good idea to put two Georges in the same city?!

Anybody who was complete 7/10-11 gotten an II?
I completed my secondary on 7/17, have my fee paid, LOR and MCAT submitted, and yet the website portal still says "Application is not yet complete." I had thought this was because they were waiting for a person on their end to verify, which seems to take a day or three at many schools, but now it has been more than a week with no change. Is this happening to anyone else? Should I email them?
That's really odd. I'd give them a call to make sure it's not a technical issue on their end
