Same thing happened to me. You should send an email to the email address ([email protected]) on the admissions page ASAP. They'll reply pretty quickly and send you one.

I think that's why you haven't received it. I actually withdrew prior to submitting the secondary.

I had to email them and ask for my secondary, so I don't know if they're just not sending info/emails to my email address or if it's an issue at Howard.

The email(s) says it's being sent to anyone who they don't have a secondary for, because they've been having trouble with email, and don't know who accidentally never got a secondary. (I never got one.) If you submitted the secondary and didn't get an email that should mean you're good.

Haha. I wouldn't be surprised if that 10/6 date was a typo because there were typos in the dates offered to me initially.

Complete 7/2. MCAT was uploaded 7/21ish. Received email 8/7 stating that they were going to start sending out secondary's around 8/17 which is indeed when I received it. Submitted my secondary like a day or two after receving since I already had my questions pre-written. Got my II 10/7.

Hi all! So, a little late, but to just to reiterate (bc there has been some false info posted on here) HUCM held its first interview day last Wednesday! Hang in there everyone. It's a long process and the waiting game is nerve-wracking but HU will get to you =). Their online system for secondaries is relatively new (started in mid-2012 cycle) so expect some bumps to come up. Wishing you all the best of luck!

I think the only thing was those essay/extended response to those yes/no questions in the secondary other than that there was no major essay prompt.

what do you mean by open? like when do classes start? to give you an idea of when classes start, the incoming 2015 class orientation began July 15 so expect to begin mid-July. =)

Thanks Bsimon24! it's definitely hard not getting discouraged by all this. Would you know whether or not the adcoms are accepting of LOIs? I looked on the secondary app site, but there's no place for uploading anything.

There is nothing wrong with sending in a LOI. However, you should realize that the committee only meets once a month (with a large volume of apps/letters to go through). So if you don't receive a response to your letter don't be discouraged. I know it's VERY difficult, but just be patient. It is a good thing that Howard takes so long. They go over EVERY aspect of your application, because they want to find a reason for you to get accepted.

I had a friend interview here yesterday and she said the interview group was about 7 people. If they're only interviewing 7 people per session we have a long way to go lol.

They only interview a total of 300 people from like 7300 applicants lol
