Accepted!!
Interviewed on 9/30
And for those of you that might be interested, now I have an "Accepted" option on TempleMedOnline
I can't even believe it... :soexcited:
Congrats! I interviewed on the same day, hopefully that doesn't mean I should be expecting bad news ><

Anyone care to share their stats for those accepted?

If I have "invited for interview" on the portal but not email, should I be worried??? Does anyone know how long it could take for me to receive the email? I'm not able to access the interview schedule on the portal yet.

Have you gotten the formal email yet? Same boat.

Congrats!

Congrats to you too! No I still have yet to receive the email. I noticed the portal change last Wednesday.. Think it would be too soon to call? I don't want to seem too pushy haha

I haven't checked my portal since last Tuesday and just noticed it last night so I'm not sure when mine popped up.

Can anyone else chime in? I think someone else said 24 hours so that made me a little nervous haha

When I received my II, I originally checked my portal on a Tuesday night. I had never checked my portal prior to this but randomly thought to do so on that day and conveniently, there was "Invited for Interview!" So, I am not sure when this status change actually happened, but after the time of me actually checking the portal, I received it the next day, almost 24 hours later (so, it very well could have changed maybe a week or two ago, I just never checked). Check your spam folders and everything, but I don't think it would hurt to call especially since it has been a week. Maybe by the end of this week? It very well could be just a delay in the system, but it could also be an email-getting-lost-somewhere type of situation...

From looking at past thread, a delay in the email being sent was not unusual, but again, I'm not sure how long is too long. Sorry if that isn't much help! I understand not wanting to be pushy, but the wait is horrible! If it were me, I think a week would be reasonable to wait and then call. Other opinions?

When were you complete?

If it's been a week, I would call

Thanks for the input. Do you have any idea what dates are currently available or have you already interviewed?

Sorry, I have already interviewed! But I believe interviews are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. When I scheduled, it showed me options for the next two weeks.

In the confirmation email, it tells you to log out and back in and upload a photo through 'send us stuff' ...should there be a dropdown item to select that says "photo" or should it just be under "other document type" and then convert it to pdf? (the email says jpeg or gif, but it won't let me)
There's a dropdown that says "Picture (.jpg)" -- that's what I submitted mine as. Seemed to work fine.

People at St. Luke's (and I'm sure at the main campus) signed an NDA during our interview day, so we can't be too descriptive. They are standardized at both campuses and are definitely part of the interview assessment. However, since this is the first time they are doing this activity, the results are likely going to be preliminary.

Looking back, it's not really something you can prepare for--it's honestly just something where being yourself will help you the most.

Does anyone have the link to the portal for applicants?

EDIT: Nvm, found it!

So no one else has heard any decisions? I'm just wondering if no status change means waitlist

I feel like it is still too soon to panic - It has only been three weeks since the 9/29 and 9/30 interviews, and they did say about 4-6 weeks. Plus, apparently only two people here have heard so far and that's not a big sample size. No news does not necessarily mean waitlist!

Here's to hopin' for the best!

Do you think it is too soon to contact the admissions office?
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried, but I was reading though last year's thread, and there were people with early interviews who heard back later than others with the same/similar dates. If we don't get a wait list or rejection letter, we're still in the running.

if none of the dates in the interview portal are convenient for me, can I keep waiting for a later week to show up?

I also interviewed on 9/29. Kind of weird that the people who have heard back so far did so a week earlier than Temple said they would start informing us of acceptances and that the decisions are available online when we were told to expect a decision via snail mail. We are probably freaking out for no reason given these observations. That, or I'm just being overly optimistic.

yea i feel like those two might be trolls i've never seen an instance of someone being accepted on a sunday

From last years thread, it also may all depend on when your faculty interviewer is able to make it to the meetings. Apparently they may go every friday, or every other, which explains why last year people heard earlier/later than others. I forget how they said they're doing it this year, but from what I understood, they're sending out decisions on a monthly basis? Keep in mind they also were late in the game getting things together! Last year they had already interviewed in September, but I believe the 29th was their first week this year. (Correct me if I am wrong on any of this).

I am just trying to stay as calm as possible! (Easier said than done!) 🙂

they said my group was the first group and that was the 29th so that sounds right

Can anyone give hotel & transportation tips? Never been to Philly so I'm not sure how transportation is there. I am flying in.

Most people stay somewhere in Center City and then take the broad street line, bus or a cab to the interview - Don't stay anywhere around the campus, but anywhere in CC is only about 15-20 minutes away, depending on traffic and where you stay. I think the best way is cab, that way you don't have to worry about navigating yourself

Anyone end up calling admissions finding out when decisions will go out? Do we hear anything if we stay on the Continuing Candidates List?

Does anyone know the number of applicants interviewed and accepted at the St. Lukes campus?
