No II and I got this. I assume it is a rejection.
"A final decision was made on your application on . Please allow two-weeks to receive the correspondence in the mail. If you do not receive this correspondence in two-weeks, please contact the Admissions Office. No decision will be given over the telephone."

Yes.It just says "Additional Correspondence" right? You cant click on it and there isn't anything in the box next to it?
Mid to late JulyWhen were you complete
So I just got some info that the *potential* process is that each month a slim few from that months interviews are accepted, and the rest who remain "Decision Pending" will not be looked at again until March, not every month as some were saying. Can anyone speak on this? Has anyone who remained Decision Pending in the October or November meetings been accepted in this December meeting?
This is what was discussed during te dean's message at the interview. Last year it seems a few people talked to admissions and were told they would be reviewed each meeting if they didn't receive a "hold" email, but it seems to be different this year. During the dean's message he said they extended too many acceptances last year so are being more cautious with offers this year.can you elaborate on this? how likely is it that this is true? interviewed in october and still decision pending =/
Were you applicant in process before you received this?No II and I got this. I assume it is a rejection.

At this point I would only be speculating. As much as it sucks, I'm thinking we are going to just have to wait and see 🙁. Just wanted to relay some info that came directly from the presentation.do you think being more cautious just means they are giving out less acceptances for now, and then they'll give out more after march/april? also, just wondering, does the school have a dean of admissions? i thought it was the director of admissions who talked to us, but i could be wrong.
Nothing in the mail for me yetAnyone who received the Final Decision + additional correspondence update to their portal on 12/15, have you gotten anything in the mail yet? When will they be mailing out decisions?
Did that come with an additional correspondence box also?No II and I got this. I assume it is a rejection.

Got this with an II. Assuming rejection?
(no additional correspondence)
Did you interview already?
Seeing that you're a new user, just letting you know II = interview invite - seen it often mistaken for meaning "secondary" (and understandably so lol)
Anyways, I can't tell you for sure but based on previous threads it doesn't seem to be a good sign, sorry 🙁

Will be starting school at UIC in August. Got the Chicago campus, so I'm super stoked 🙂) does anyone know if there's an accepted student page anywhere? The FB page isn't up yet. Want to start chatting with people to find roommates for campus living
When you get accepted, you get a packet in the mail with a few forms to fill out and submit. One of those forms lets you rank your placement preferences between Chicago, Peoria and Rockford. They then assign campuses on a first-come-first-serve basis. Usually, Chicago will fill up first, meaning that people in later interview slots will likely get Peoria or Rockford placement. How did you choose your placement?
