Any idea on the scholarship timeline and when we'll hear back regarding that?
Got an email saying I had an offer like a day or two ago. Not sure if they are all given at the same time though.

I can't speak to chances aside from what's been discussed in the thread, but have you reached out to the office is Diversity and Inclusion and/or applied? Couldn't quite tell from your question. Is there anyone who has more information on the post bacc program? As an URM who did well at the interview stage, what are the chances of an acceptance to the KUMC post bacc program?

I'm waiting to hear back too.Has anyone heard back regarding the pre-matriculation program? Just curious since the webpage states admissions should have been sent by 4/30.
Haven't heard back regarding the post-bac program either. The email said by May 1st at the latest, while the website says "by May 5th at the latest."I'm waiting to hear back too.
Congratulations!Accepted! Interviewed 1/4. Number 18 on the alternate list. Best of Luck to you all! They are now on 21. Waitlist is moving pretty fast.
Is parking really that bad? And if so, is it recommended to live within walking distance of campus?

Similar question, I plan on commuting from Overland Park about 30 mins away, is that doable?
Is this true even if you secure a monthly parking pass?Speaking as a current employee, parking spots can get hard to find only if you arrive between 9am and 4pm. The only issue for me is that it's about a 15 minute walk from the "cheap" parking spots to the center of campus (you get to pick if you want to spend $130 or >$1000 per year depending on where you want to park. Free parking is now limited to 2-3 hour spots).
However, two things to consider are they are adding a few thousand spots this Summer and the new Health education building is closer to a lot of parking areas, so I imagine it will be a lot more manageable to drive if you really want to.
Congrats to all who are getting great news this month! So exciting!
Not yet.Did anyone hear back about post-bacc selections yet?

Congratulations!Got selected for the post-bac program today via phone call!
Here's a neat draft of how parking will look
I park in the orange which is the least expensive. For reference it takes me about 15 minutes of powerwalking to get to the hospital. The new Health Education Building is about 5 minutes closer. As you can see it is conveniently located close to quite a few parking options including the new parking garage (the one with 2,096 spots). Looking at it now, I don't think commuting will be as much of a problem as previous years, but who knows![]()
Thanks! juggling the end of one career, two trips and a cross country move and my anxiety about something slipping through the cracks is better handled when I have a general idea.Supposedly it'll be sent out after Memorial Day weekend.
