Somehow missed this post. Shoot me a PM if you still need advice. In a nutshell, no requirements. Some get Mac some go PC. Get what you’re comfortable with, but if you go PC be sure to get a touch screen. Super useful

Was just notified by email that I did not receive any FELS loan money. I applied for it through CFNC back in February. Kind of surprised since the consensus seemed to be that everybody who applied would be offered the forgivable loan.

Did you apply late in February? I applied in late January but was approved. It's something I think we apply for every year so maybe we need to apply once the application opens next time.

I was approved for FELS too. I applied late January. I also was under the impression that most everyone who applied was approved, so I’m kind of surprised that some didn’t get it. I wonder if there was less funding available this year.

I was approved for FELS as well but am currently on the waitlist. Does anybody have any insight as to what I should do in this situation. I don’t want to have to decline the FELS only to be accepted later, and I’m unsure if declining it will hurt my future chances of receiving it if I have to reapply

I have no idea, but if I were you I would contact the financial aid office at Brody and ask them. I wouldn’t think that declining it would hurt your chances of getting it again, but like I said, I don’t really know.

Would being complete in early or mid October be detrimental to my application? My overall app is good, but I realized that because of a lot of things going on right now, I won't be able to be fully complete until then.
