Do you know whether the end of September interview would be considered after the break?
Yeah it is! I’m not sure when it ends, like when the next cut off is, but it’s from the last week of September until that break. The lady on the phone was very helpful and said that it doesn’t really matter when exactly you interviewed, but when all of your evaluations are in from your interviewers! So if someone heard back already and we’re a couple weeks after you, it doesn’t imply that you are rejected or anything, Just means that their materials from their interviewed were complete first

oh my that brings my hopes up! Thanks!

I know that Pritzker gives out interviews until January and there is still some time left to hear back, but do they do silent rejections? I'm getting a little nervous here.

yes and no, I think they internally hold people and do a slew of rejections near the end (for the most part). No rolling rejections (only a few) as with every other school in top 20

For people who have interviewed here already, what are the interviews like and how many are there?

If I recall correctly, there's three interviews. One with a student, one with an administrator, and one with a faculty. For me, they were are all pretty conversational without any stress. Best of luck!

Deleted-- somebody answered my question above!

As far as I know, nobody from the last week of September has received a decision, which makes me feel slightly better I guess. If anyone who interviewed late September has heard back, please burst my bubble!

Hey there, what day did you interview and what day did you hear back? Thanks

Would it be wise to send an update combined with a letter of intent now? I interviewed in late August and have not heard a peep post-II. I just recently got a manuscript accepted for publication, and I was wondering if it would be a good time now to send them an update/LOI or if I should wait until a little later. This is without a doubt my top choice, so I just do not want to screw this up.

Also, quick clarification if anyone knows on the topic of letters of interest vs. letters of intent. Are letters of intent only supposed to be sent after being waitlisted, or can they be sent in a situation like mine where I have presumably been put on hold post-II? If not, would it be wise to only send a letter of intent now and wait to see if I ever get waitlisted to send a letter of intent?

Good luck all, based on last year there may likely be some decisions soon for oct/early nov interviews - perhaps on friday. Don't @ me I have no more information than that. Good luck lol

I was complete first week of October and I interviewed last week. I think at this point in the cycle, no news is good news because that means your app is still being reviewed. I’m in the same boat at a lot of other places.

Silence here!!
I was complete mid July, they probably just lost my application or something.

Really thought they would release decisions today since they did this time last year and it’s the last day before break
I was thinking the same thing, too, and was staring at my phone all day today.. Guess it's back to the waiting game. If anyone knows when the next wave of decisions might be coming, please let us know!

Rejected last night. LM 76. Pretty disappointed since I got an email from them earlier this year about applying there and waiving the secondary fee. Guess a lot of people got that email.

Sorry to hear 🙁 I've been complete since summer and haven't heard a peep since....
