Its been 2 weeks since i submitted my campus preferences. Has anybody gotten their campus placement yet?

Just got an email from UIC housing and my heart rate spiked thinking it was campus assignment.

Called housing and they said it wasn't any indication of campus 🙁

In my December interview they said that our apps would go to the Jaunary 18th committee meeting, idk if they are meeting for any other reason (like giving IIs) anytime sooner than that though

I was complete by the last week of August. And no, it just said ‘your application has been forwarded to the screening committee’ for a good 2 months. I think under consideration is a status that IU gives after they interview you, but not UIC.

Hmmm, some said there was a status change after “forwarded to the committee”, right before their II, and some said there was not. Just wondering if I should be worried if mine doesn’t change... hopefully it doesn’t mean anything!

Pre interview is either forwarded to screening comittee or under consideration of screening comittee. After interview is under consideration or forwarded to the admissions comittee. I received my interview after under consideration from screening comittee. Hopefully this clears up a little confusion

I think it's pretty high. I actually thought I saw somewhere that it was something like 70%, but don't quote me on that.

iirc last year they interviewed ~800+ and accepted ~500+

Idk if I’m just an outlier in this, but I got my campus assignment updated on the portal. I have no idea when it was updated since I just randomly checked, but I never got an e-mail or any snail mail about it (yet?). Accepted 11/20 for reference

Are you referring to the acceptance portal? I can only see the preferences I submitted there.

Same, almost to the point of just dropping this one and selecting another school early. This cold weather really has me thinking south is the place to be. But the lack of communication or campus assignment confirmation from here isn't helping either way.

It shows my primary and secondary campus choices and Assigned Campus.
