Yup, I'm from the city and I have experiences that tie me to urban medicine, so the Rockford placement is baffling. I'm OK with it, I'm just worried that the programs I'm interested in won't be available on the Rockford campus.

Interviewed in Chicago. I don't quite remember, but I think I discussed a desire to go into research and participate in the Chicago community.

yup 🙂 in-state and interviewed at peoria.

and to answer someone else who asked about secondary questions. I wrote about my interest in innovative medicine and academic medicine and I could see myself help educating the next generation of physicians. I think that sounds a little more on the chicago side than rockford but who knows *shrugs*

I emailed admissions and they told me last week that interviews will only be extended to the end of the month. Did you speak with them today? I hope you're right, that there's still a sliver of hope.
