It wasn’t by choice. Basically not all of us had a laptop and stable internet connection to run a zoom and take the exam at the same time. Big reason why they made laptops a requirement this year and now everyone must have one since our exams will take place on the laptop instead of the iPad very soon.

Well when they make you buy an iPad for school there’s not a lot of money left for a laptop lol. My laptop last year would not have survived a proctored exam so I had to buy one this year. A lot of people in my class didn’t have one in fact so they’ll have to buy one too. It’s really the only way to monitor us while we’re at home.

A friend told me none of your guy's exams are proctored since covid? Is that true?

This isn't true. I think that happened last year, but now you are monitored via zoom.

Keep in mind that Nova wasnt the only school to do this. Many of my friends from other schools also had this. Its not like it was something they were able to plan for ahead of time.
