Anyone else that interviewed 10/18 hear back today? Are they only notifying acceptances or all decisions for that interview date?

i just got an email on friday to make a GatorLink account. when i looked on the portal there’s a new tab that says like “accepted” or something where i could select whether i intend to go there and make a deposit
 
I submitted an extracurricular update on Monday via the application portal, and have recently come across more news I would like to share with the ADCOMs. Would submitting another update 1 week later seem desperate?

Edit: But that’s just me, I don’t know how ADCOMs think

Back in October. I would just wait it out, I only received mine the other day.
 
Did anyone else receive an email asking them to update their app? I received one today and am hoping the additions I gave are substantial enough since I am still extremely interested in the school (3 poster presentations/abstracts, 1 paper submitted with verification). Should I mention my interest explicitly on the secondary portal, or is filling it out enough to indicate that they are still one of my top choices?

yeah I think they sent that to everyone who they haven't interviewed. I think the main point of it was to let people know that they will be sending more interview invites so people stop asking lol.

I typed my updates in the boxes on the website and clicked "save". It says that we wouldn't be able to edit the content once submitted but I still seem to be able to edit it. How do we know if it is submitted? (There's no submit button)
 
For anyone that interviewed at this school I would love to know what you think in your application resonated specifically with UF?

I think they can see whatever you have in the portal at the time, but maybe they save individual updates somewhere every time you click save? Not too sure
 
For any current students, do you guys think it is necessary to have a car for the first two years?
 
People who got care packages - did you select will attend UF on the portal? I got accepted in Oct. & I’m trying to figure out why I haven’t gotten one.
 
If anyone would be willing to talk about their interview experience and the types of interviews they had (conversational vs very formal etc.) that would be very appreciated!! I have one coming up soon so trying to prepare as best as possible. Thank you!

mine was pretty conversational and the most laid back interview I attended so far
