Nah, it’s pretty volatile. I don’t think anyone cares about it too much in the medicine world. It matters for layperson clout and that’s it. Yale’s match list was spectacular when they were lower on US News, and it’ll be spectacular next year, too

I emailed a couple weeks ago and they got back and said the earliest that there would be movement in in early May. They said they couldn't really tell me about historical movement, or give me an estimate if there will be any movement either.
 
Can anyone explain an unranked waitlist? Does that mean we are reconsidered upon waitlist movement from its entirety or it is first come/first serve like the people who sent in letters repeatedly?

Hi all. Just committed to Yale! I just wanted to confirm that all we need to do is click commit to enroll on the Yale admissions portal / pay the deposit, and also click plan to enroll on Yale on AMCAS (I will commit to enroll on AMCAS once the option opens up). Is there anything else that needs to be done by the deadline today?
 
Historically WL movement at Yale seemed to start on May 1st, no matter the day of the week, with phone calls going to 6:30 PM eastern time. This is the “anything goes” cycle though, so who knows exactly what will happen. Good luck everyone!

Congrats! And I think that's pretty much it. Only thing I would note is that after planning to enroll on AMCAS, you have to go back and "Edit selection" for the commit to enroll option to show
 
If the WL isn’t ranked anyone know what factors play a role in who gets called n how u can boost ur spot potentially
