I woke up from sleep to an II. It was sent past midnight EST time, as that’s my time zone. I was surprised because I consider myself rejected from the remaining schools I’m yet to hear back from.
I’m an int’l applicant from Canada. 50x MCAT, 3.9x cgpa, 3.9x sgpa.

Congrats ! Meharry definitely looks at international folks. In fact, we have two in our class. Go and knock that interview out of the park. ( :

JUST GOT THE A !!!!! 🤩❤️‍🔥
Congrats! So happy for you!

What's post-interview acceptance rate for this school?
Not sure exactly, but anecdotally, everyone on SDN who has interviewed has reported back as being accepted or WL. Per AAMC, their WL is small and that usually means a significant number of applicants placed on it will eventually receive an acceptance.

Your chances are good. Good luck!

Have anyone who submitted their secondary in December gotten an invite?

I don’t think so because I submitted mines novemeber 28th and haven’t got an II. So there probably still playing catch-up from break

Yesterday during the info session they stated that the time period you received your secondary has a factor into whether you were considered competitive by the committee. Like if you received secondary in Sept you were at the top of the top, October top 1/3, and continuing on. Were any of you guys aware of this? I guess it's common sense but I think I never really thought about that in regards to secondaries. Makes me feel like Meharry really puts in time to consider the secondaries unlike many other med schools

This gives me some more faith that I might actually have some chance at an interview here 🙁( I received my secondary in October and submitted same day, but still haven't heard anything from them ever since that.

when was the last batch? I received and submitted mine on Nov 28th

Idk but he did say some were received this month. Then said something about how if you are receiving them around January you may be in the lower half of competitiveness, but he said do not let this deter you as everyone has a chance

Oh my. I submitted in July and still have not received a secondary. My app is very mission fit, but I didn’t realize I was that uncompetitive. Thats discouraging.

do they hold certain spots for their post bac program, because I know some of them are guaranteed acceptance
