Did you already interview? If so, what type of interview was it?I don't know how I'm going to what till next month to get an admissions decision from this school. The anxiety is killing me.

Yes, I interviewed last week. I had a traditional interview w/ a couple MMI style questions, but several people on here had 2 separate interviews. Some had a 3rd session with students. There seems to be a lot of variance from one SDN member to the next in the type of interview(s) they have and who interviews them. If I were you, I would just prepare for both.Did you already interview? If so, what type of interview was it?
I amJust wondering... are you URM?
What are MMI “type” questions? Do you have an example? I’ve only had tradition 1 on 1 interviews thus far.Yes, I interviewed last week. Chances are, they are. Meharry’s student population is almost 100% URM. Their mission is to diversify medicine.everyone here interviewing, are y'all URM?
haven't gotten an interview invite here but meharry is a hbcu, meaning most of it is URM as that is what its mission is.everyone here interviewing, are y'all URM?
I was also told its for 30 minutes and after ward, they will answer any questions we have. I had a traditional interview prior to this two weeks ago and i am not also sure what style this would beThey had 3,4,6 and 7 for available dates. I don’t know the style. The interview is only 30 minutes, so I assume it is a single individual interview.

I feel like that would make the most sense ?I wonder if they are moving through secondaries in order of submission
I submitted my secondary 10/23 so hopefully an II coming soonI feel like that would make the most sense ?
10/25 for me - fingers crossed for the both of us!I submitted my secondary 10/23 so hopefully an II coming soon

Lets be positive. I think Thanksgiving is possible because based on previous years thread, there seems to be a delay between uploading acceptance letters to the portal and actually sending acceptance emails to check the portal.saaaaaame I am praying earlier since they sent out II's earlier? lol maybe around Thanksgiving (ambitious)? Last year the first SDN acceptance was December 21st if I recall correctly :O
I believe it‘s December 15th
The type of application would be MD. The disposition would be if you were kicked out of a program if I’m not mistaken, but could be wrong about the disposition.I believe this question has been touched on in this thread, but I am hoping someone can provide more context. For the Application History section in the secondary application, under "Prior Medical School" what are we supposed to fill in for "Type of Application", "Previous Years", and "Most Recent Disposition"? A previous reply in this thread mentioned that this section was asking for previous cycles in which we applied, making the Previous Years section understandable. I'm guessing the type of application would be medicine? but what am I expected to fill in for Most Recent Disposition?
Great! thanks for the helpThe type of application would be MD. The disposition would be if you were kicked out of a program if I’m not mistaken, but could be wrong about the disposition.
probably email themdoes anyone know how to withdraw an application? i received a secondary but I am not going to submit.
If you genuinely have an interest in what they stand for then it really becomes a personal choice but just understand that a large part of their mission is geared towards increasing representation in medicine and looking at students from disadvantaged backgrounds and URM. If you really identify with the history and can explain that well in a genuine way/feel it is a good fit then sure! This is just my opinion. My understanding is they really emphasize mission fit.
I don’t think so. I haven’t gotten one either . But I called and they said not to worry they send them all the way to January . So to be patient just because you haven’t received it now doesn’t mean you won’t get it at allAny recent secondaries ?
Not to me. I'll def post when I hear back.Has Meharry sent out any A’s at all?
Nope is too early unless the update is substation like a national award etc.Should you send an update letter if you haven’t received a secondary yet?
yep, i also got one last year.Anyone still waiting on a secondary? I got one last year :/
Yea don’t worry . Admissions officer said it’s gonna take time.Anyone still waiting on a secondary? I got one last year :/
Link? I interviewed but I haven’t heard about a student panelIs anybody who already interviewed attending the student panel this Saturday?
No I was asking. There were around 30 students in the invitation email sent yesterday.Link? I interviewed but I haven’t heard about a student panel

So don’t worry? 😅I didn’t get it either, but wasn’t necessarily expecting it. Past threads indicate interviewees have anywhere from 1-3 sessions with a lot of variance from person to person. Meharry likes to keep us on our toes, lol.
So don’t worry?![]()
I submitted 10/25, still nothing. I’m hoping we’re in the next wave but you literally never know with MeharryHas anyone who submitted a secondary 10/23 or after recieved an II?
what is the student panelIs anybody who already interviewed attending the student panel this Saturday?
