This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
But did you receive an email saying that you would hear back at a later date? I never received anything. November 21st came around and nothing. Haven't heard anything at all and not sure if we were supposed to receive any emails or anything. Did they call you to let you know? How did they keep you posted.
Yes the last active consideration email I recieved was 3 weeks ago, they said they would update me with another email in 2 weeks, which was last Tuesday. Still haven’t heard anything.

I didn't even get that email. Should I call their office you think? It seems everyone has received some sort of update email

How is the MMI interview? Is it entirely behavioral/ethical, or are there also personal questions?

Looks like we are still waiting to hear back from them, hopefully this week.

Same here, just got the active consideration one. December 20th is up next
from last year or prior, anyone know how the "active consideration" status has unfolded. Like what are chance these to be converted to A?

I just went through last years SDN thread. It seems like most people on the active consideration status were basically on a waitlist. The official waitlist didn't get organized till March 25th, but some people did get accepted off the active consideration status in late January and mid February so it's definitely possible!

I noticed they changed the wording to “The earliest date by which you can expect an update to your application status is Friday, December 20, 2024” so it probably won’t be the 20th, and they can now go longer without sending updates.

Yeah I noticed that too which sucks. Based on the wording of that email, I'm guessing that we will probably hear sometime in January. No chance they let us know between the 25th and the 1st.

OOS II today.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but do you all think doing the in-person interview vs doing it virtual will have any sway on my chances (whether implicit or explicit)...

It said in the email that it won't and they won't notify the Admissions Committee if it's virtual or in person.

On their website it says they sent out 181 direct offers last year. Does that mean that number doesn't count waitlist A's? Trying to figure out the post-II A rate and it seems it is around 40% but not sure if that includes waitlist A's bc of the direct offer thing.
