Hey guys, stopped by to say I got a scholarship earlier from Creighton! I'm very grateful and hope this will give hope to those who have not heard back yet regarding Financials. 🙂

I also received a scholarship yesterday! Definitely was toward the last batches of A's so it was very unexpected.

May get better insight posting on “X v Y” thread, but I would narrow the decision to UCF and UColorado. Creighton is ranked below both significantly. UColorado would probably put you in a better position to match in CA but if OOS it’s a big price tage. If UCF is your IS and significantly cheaper, you should consider it. UCF had some quality CA matches.

Tldr Colorado if price tag is not too scary.

Hey! I have not gotten my financial aid package yet (accepted back in December), but I think its just FAFSA and proof of U.S. citizenship.

Went to office hours this week and they said they were planning to rereview wls this week for acceptances. My portal hasn’t changed yet and I have seen anyone else post about their decision message disappearing so I am not sure if it happened

When I went to the advising meeting last month they mentioned that they would be going over the WL applicants in early May?

They told me 2 weeks ago some apps will be reviewed march 27th and everyone will be reviewed may 8th.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice to make my application stronger with updates to hopefully gain an acceptance. After reviewing my application they told me the only weak spot in my application was my MCAT score and my service and extracurricular involvements is what has pushed the decision to keep me as a potential candidate on the alternate list. Creighton is my dream school and I was wondering if anyone had any advice in this waiting period, thanks!

You can send a LOI if you haven’t already. Otherwise, the ball is no longer in your court. Can’t improve an MCAT score this late in the game, only for the next cycle.

Creighton has good WL movement, which will pick up at the start of next month.

My updates weren’t ground breaking. Just updated my hours in format they outline in the interview and included a small write up about what I learned from each activity. Definitely do what they recommend in the office hours though

I know that Creighton wants us to send updates if we are on the waitlist and I see that one can submit a letter of intent. However, I don't wanna to commit to 1 single school, but I would still like to send a letter of interest on top of the updates. Do we think that's possible?

Definitely possible! In my updates, I included a short paragraph of interest before listing out my activity updates in the format they specify in the interview

Im deciding between here and another school that I don't like location wise at all but has P/F preclinical, was wondering how people felt about Creighton being H/P/F preclinical (top 10% of class makes honors). Im struggling with this a bit because I want to pick Creighton but having P/F preclinical is hard to say no to.
