I interviewed 10/07 and still no response. Are they sending out predominantly deferrals first?

I am confused about the discussion about deferral. I got a pre-II hold--is that the same as a deferral?

hoping decision goes well for me! i interviewed the last week of september but haven't heard anything 🙁 any IS people in the same boat?

thoughts on sending a post-II update letter? i have a significant update that we barely talked about in the interview, but im not sure if i should just wait till a decision has been made.

Hello everyone! For those who have interviewed and then received a decision, I was wondering how soon after your interview date did you get the decision email. I know they said it was 8-10 weeks but I was wondering if that differed for anyone. Thanks!

it’s been 3-5 weeks for most people in this thread but with the holidays coming up it might be longer now

in past years lots of people have been accepted after being deferred after around february so it’s not over at all 🫶

complete in July, and I still haven't heard anything... should I send an update? I really like this school.. anyone else in the same boat?
This is from their website “Applicants may send a total of three updates through our application system”

If you have a significant update I’d say go for it. I am in the same boat as you I submitted 7/1 and haven’t heard anything since

Anyone interviewed in early-mid October and still haven’t heard back? It’s hitting 6 weeks for me

Hey! I interviewed 10/07 and heard back from admissions on 11/11, so faster than the turnaround time that they indicated at the interview.

Hi all, I have my interview coming up soon. Any advice or tips? also is it tiring/exhausting since we're asked tp block off pretty much the whole day?

it’s very conversational and everyone is super nice! the only part that sucks is ur sitting around for most of the day waiting for ur faculty interviewer especially if ur like me who was in the last time slot. but u can use that time to eat and do other things i guess lol

Thank you! do they tell you exactly when the faculty interviewer will show up ?

Would a letter of interest be helpful if I already interviewed here and haven’t gotten a decision yet? I interviewed November 1 and this is one of my top choices
