Yup it has been getting worse and worse each year it looks like. Last year they looked super disorganized, sending people II holds well after they were already done interviewing. People do get off the waitlist in July, but the waitlist is not the same as the deferral. People seem to rarely get off the actual deferral list and are usually held until the waitlist in June/July.

once like feb/march hits the deferral list turns into the waitlist though

I have noticed that this cycle is not only seemingly running late, but schools are also yield protecting heavily this time around.

I am an optimist, and I can see how this cycle is worrying, but one thing is for sure: this year and last year are different. I'm hoping that last year was a fluke, and that they simply deffered people until interviews are done, and then the movement will happen as it did in the years before.
wait yea so many people got accepted late june/early july

they’re waiting til after we make 500-2000 dollar deposits for DOs to release decisions lol

It's been 5 weeks since my interview! Anyone get a decision if they interviewed early November?

OOS II!!! I'm so hype because I genuinely did not think I would hear back from them due to how many apps they receive.

For people that have interviewed, how did you fill out the Community Service and Clinical Experiences coursework section? Thank you!!!

I personally haven’t taken any classes that specifically count as community service or clinical experience, so I left them blank! They just want to know if you have any specific course credits that would fit another those topics. For example, my university had a poverty studies course with a practicum component where students actually went out and interacted with individuals experiencing homelessness in the community, so that would count as a community service class!

I interviewed on 10/18 and got deferred on 11/7....a really quick turnaround :/
This is one of my dream schools - does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? I have not sent an update/interest letter yet, but I'm trying to figure out when the best time is to send one
