especially last year thread showed not many people being accepted off of the deferral list. Previous years were actually better.
once like feb/march hits the deferral list turns into the waitlist thoughYup it has been getting worse and worse each year it looks like. Last year they looked super disorganized, sending people II holds well after they were already done interviewing. People do get off the waitlist in July, but the waitlist is not the same as the deferral. People seem to rarely get off the actual deferral list and are usually held until the waitlist in June/July.
No, they keep interviewing until late March/early April. The waitlist did not start until June last year.once like feb/march hits the deferral list turns into the waitlist though
wait yea so many people got accepted late june/early julyI have noticed that this cycle is not only seemingly running late, but schools are also yield protecting heavily this time around.
I am an optimist, and I can see how this cycle is worrying, but one thing is for sure: this year and last year are different. I'm hoping that last year was a fluke, and that they simply deffered people until interviews are done, and then the movement will happen as it did in the years before.
Fr I’m a reapp and my deposit for a DO school is literally coming up. I just wanna know my other results![]()

Around what time are people getting deferral emails? And is it just Tuesdays that they make decisions?
they’re waiting til after we make 500-2000 dollar deposits for DOs to release decisions lol
People got deferred but no Acceptances yetIt's been 5 weeks since my interview! Anyone get a decision if they interviewed early November?
same i interviewed 10/23 and got deferred like two weeks later. was so bummedI interviewed on 10/18 and got deferred on 11/7....a really quick turnaround :/
This is one of my dream schools - does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? I have not sent an update/interest letter yet, but I'm trying to figure out when the best time is to send one
I interviewed on 11/4 and received an acceptance on 12/3It's been 5 weeks since my interview! Anyone get a decision if they interviewed early November?
thanks for letting us know! so they have been sending acceptances.I interviewed on 11/4 and received an acceptance on 12/3
No, I think there is def more to go out. They interview pretty late into the cycle. Is Drexel done sending out interviews ?
For Drexel, a hold is an R. I haven't gotten either a hold or an II yet.Anyone get II invites after a hold? Also congrats to all the people with As yippeeee
Got it! Thank you so much 🙂 I went ahead and left it blankI personally haven’t taken any classes that specifically count as community service or clinical experience, so I left them blank! They just want to know if you have any specific course credits that would fit another those topics. For example, my university had a poverty studies course with a practicum component where students actually went out and interacted with individuals experiencing homelessness in the community, so that would count as a community service class!
For those who interviewed here, how was it? Is it both traditional and MMI?
the wait has been crazy and they are moving slower 😩I feel like a decision is gonna come in early to mid Jan based on last years thread for our early Nov fam![]()
