Had a very similar issue with my prereqs. Was there a resolution?

Nope :,( feel free to message me, but I have taken many upper level engineering classes which are just physics content essentially. However, they said this does not meet their requirement….Ive gone back and forth a bunch with them and may just give up at this point, but I love the school so am still thinking.

Does anyone know/think Brody will make any acceptance offers around October 15? In past years it seems that they have but things seem late this year 😕

Can you just take the courses before matriculation? Like let them know that you are going to take them at a local community college to meet their requirement?

I think this may be my plan...I'm just frustrated because I really don't want to shell out like 2-4k for these classes when I completed AP Physics C in high school, and have taken like 10 upper level physics courses in college....very niche and personal issue but yeah 🙁 this is good advice though thank you!!

For sure, but I think it's def more effective than going back and forth with them over email. Don't give them any reason not to let you in!!

Are you a NC resident? If you are, it might be worth reaching out to them. I think their admissions team is really, really small, so it’s possible something got overlooked.
 
Anyone else not able to pay the deposit in PiratePort?

My only options are "Summer 11 Week", "Fall 202580", and "Spring 2025", not seeing the "Fall 2025 Medical" option as per the acceptance letter...
 
PiratePortal is fixed now, should be able to pay the deposit as per the acceptance letter instructions.

@clumsycamel161 Hopefully they can refund you lol

I think it is because they just changed the rules on who can apply. I believe prior to this year, you had to be an NC resident with an RCN, but now you can apply if you went to a UNC system school and graduated within the last 5 years. "Recent graduates from the UNC System Institutions (within the last 5 years) are eligible for consideration, regardless of state of residence."

I don’t see anything. That could be leftover from a previous cycle where they used a different application website. [emoji1744]
