Interviewed Oct 23rd, WL'd Jan 10th, sent LOintent day of WL. Does anyone know what to expect from this school's WL movement? I checked MSAR but it didn't share anything.
According to last year's cycle on SDN, there was a huge WL movement on May 17th. But it seems like Georgetown has already accepted a few off the WL, so not completely sure about the timeline.

Have any accepted applicants heard about financial aid yet? I emailed them way back and they said they begin processing early to mid February, so hopefully packages are being sent out soon.

Any Idea when decisions will be out for those who interviewed the week of December 8th?
It seems like they release decisions every 2 weeks. Since mid November interview decisions were released last Thursday, I'm assuming early/mid December interview decisions will be out sometime around March 6th...? In past cycles, on SDN, As were announced via phone call and WL/R via email, but I've seen people say on here they've been accepted via email only, so not sure what to expect.

I was only sent an email for my A, no call

Yea...Not sure what to expect at all. Seems like most people end up on the WL anyway. I'm also wondering if I can see early by checking the CYMS tool.
I'm only guessing, but I think it depends on when the committee enters it into the CYMS tool. I've received decisions on a particular day but the CYMS tool has a different date and time stamp (usually later)! It might be different for every school though.

Hello all, looking for some hope, what does WL movement for Georgetown look like? Should I hold on to hope (while prepping for reapplying)? Or it’s time to move on from thinking about going here?

They WL a lot of people, and I've heard that there is a good number of acceptances that come from their WLs. Some have already been accepted off the WL this cycle, but last year, there was a huge WL movement on May 17th. Don't lose hope until it's over! But it wouldn't hurt to start thinking about reapplying - I'm doing the same while I'm still waiting to hear back 😭

hoping for positive news for us 🤞🏾🤞🏾

For those expecting decisions soon, good luck! And if you end up getting WL, feel free to DM me! I was WL'ed in December and got off the waitlist in January after sending a letter of interest. I am most likely going to withdraw from Georgetown soon so happy to help anyone with questions : )
where are you going instead?

It's possible, they've released decisions on Fridays before according to CycleTrack (1/10 and 1/24) but the last two rounds were on Thursdays. Not sure what to expect, but hopefully soon 😅
seems weird bc otherwise we would have to wait another two weeks right?? hopefully soon is right!!

Someone should email the financial aid office and see when they are releasing packages for accepted students lol (I would but I already did back in January and all they said was they begin processing in early-mid February)
