Please make sure to confirm this! I spoke with a Howard Undergrad applying this cycle and he stated that HUCM attempts to interview as many as possible that meet the 494 MCAT requirement. That was his explanation for why the process is usually longer for this specific school.

From what I’ve been told, they’ve been sending interviews for 510+ MCAT’s first. Then Dec/Jan onward will be sub-510 MCAT’s. But based on last years thread a lottttt of interviews went out jan/feb as well and as late as april! So keep the faith!

I submitted super late: primary app in on Nov 19th, secondary submitted on Nov 23rd, secondary acknowledgement on Dec 2nd (When I made my list, they required CASPer and I didn't have the time/money to do it then, so I applied to schools that didn't require SJTs) I know I'm at the BACK of the line and they won't get back to me till like Mar/Apr, but I hope we all get our top choices!!!!

they mainly talk about the school and application process and allow you to ask questions, nothing specific to the cycle. they did say how much applicants they had and might let you know other details if you ask. i think this is more tailored to persons that are applying next cycle to be prepared and know what to expect.

I have a lower MCAT, interviewed in Oct, accepted in Nov. The accepted gc has a large variety of MCAT scores. that statement is completely untrue.

I guess it varies depending on your GPA. Some people already accepted may have high GPAs and lower MCAT scores (<510), while others may have lower GPAs and higher MCAT scores (510+). You may be one of those that have a higher GPA.
