This sucks guys 🙁 I do have an A from another school, but I have until June 1st to sign out on campus housing lease and if I don't they will recede my acceptance. Thats not even the worst part if we decided to not attend this school were liable for the entire years worth of rent ($20,000).

Don't get me wrong Im very grateful for my A, but HU is my dream school and my entire family & friends live in DC </3 hoping to hear something in the next two weeks

Nothing was shared about the cycle. Current students just said to keep waiting and that people get off the waitlist late in the cycle.

Oh wow!🥺 I'm really starting to worry. I know they say 80% come off the list but how is that possible or has the trend changed.

it seems that some people have been coming off but maybe not as many as they led on, especially right after april 30. it’s been pretty slow

yeah we were told the same during my interview.. that’s a pretty strong statement to make to anxious premeds lol way to get hopes up high. I hope and pray that it’s true

Does anyone know approximately how many are on the WL? I know they say 100-120, but some people reject the offer to be placed on the list, and some have come off the list. I guess I just answered my question........

I have no idea. I have seen in threads from previous years where they have sent out ii as late as june, but i’m not sure for this cycle. Has anyone been in contact with admissions lately to see where they’re at in the cycle or if they expect any more ii’s ir WL movement?

I believe alternate list and waitlist is the same thing. I am on the alternate list

fb group size might not be the best gauge, but the groupme has 84 ppl right now, including a few current m1s/rising m2s. feels like a better indicator since ppl usually leave that when they withdraw rather than the fb group. fingers crossed for the waitlist folks!

Was the GroupMe linked in the acceptance email? I know fb isn’t an accurate indicator it’s just had to ignore 😭 like it just hit 138 today

starting to seriously consider it.. and not looking forward to it

I plan to order my transcript, enter my classes on the AAMC application, and request updated letters of recommendation to be submitted. After which, I will pause to see how things progress with the waitlist. This way, I can have the most time-consuming tasks finished. If there is no real movement by June 13, I will start completing the application and apply for the next cycle.
