Have any accepted applicants applied to one of the accelerated MD programs here?
 
For people that submitted update letters to the portal, did you click "I'm done submitting documents" if you are not planning on submitting another one?
 
Haven’t heard anything since sending my secondary, anything I can do at this point? Should I send an update letter/ letter of interest? Miami is my dream school

I would definitely submit an update letter if you have any significant updates! In your update letter, you can include a little paragraph expressing your interest in attending UMiami.
I don't know if they accept letters of interest or not, as it only mentions update letters on MSAR, not letters of interest and I cannot find anything regarding letters of interest in their website. Maybe someone else knows about this? If not, you can always email them as they usually respond pretty quickly. If they do accept letters of interest, and you don't have any significant updates, then you could send in a letter of interest instead of an update letter.
Considering it seems they are still sending out interview invites, it doesn't seem too late just yet and I would definitely send your update or letter of interest ASAP.

if i uploaded an update letter but did not hit "i'm done uploading documents", it was still received, correct? I was under the impression that hitting that precluded me from updating anything else in the future but was hoping to double check if anyone on this page knows 🙂 thank you

Just call and ask them if they got it. You can also send an email.
 
Does anyone know if we get separate decisions from MD and MSTP committees or just one

I emailed them in October

They replied in January

they respond, it just takes a little bit
 
I emailed them last week and they responded within the hour, but maybe it was because I had a very simple general question rather than something specific to my application.

I believe you may be automatically considered by both—I only say that because when I was accepted, I had the option to choose between MD only and MD/MPH, even though I had applied MD/MPH
 
advice appreciated: still hoping for a II. sent an update back in december. had another significant update but was unable to upload to the portal so emailed them. no response so called and left a vm. is it worth reaching out again or should i accept this as a silent R 🙁

I would email them again to follow-up on your significant update. It really cannot hurt at this point

In the same boat. I just uploaded an update letter, and their instructions for uploading letters mention something specific about not giving much weight to letters of intent, but they welcome update letters. At this point in the cycle, I don't think there is much to lose in sending an update letter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
Is anyone else who interviewed on 2/3 still waiting on a decision? I know we only hit the 4 week mark yesterday, but they said 3-4 and I'm getting impatient lol
