That is not nice for schools to do so. If class is full and they are done with IIs please send rejections early. We really need AAMC to step in or state regulators to do something about this.
yea currently in this boat rn. has been radio silence from milleri had a friend who applied last cycle who was completely ghosted until July when she finally received a pre-II R
manifesting ✨Who got money for WL movement happening this week...
unlike last year, WL will probably see good movement beginning May 01. not sure why the waitlist moved so much in early April of 2024.Who got money for WL movement happening this week...
Oh, did you get this info from somewhere? For some reason, there has already been people pulled off in January which is weird.unlike last year, WL will probably see good movement beginning May 01. not sure why the waitlist moved so much in early April of 2024.
Haha ya I’m j praying it’s tomorrowPeak neuroticism, but I'm betting WL movement will start 4/16 😅
Facebook’s at 226Please, for accepted students, how many accepted students are on discord/telegram or facebook?
It is so doomed lolFacebook’s at 226
Yes im on the WL and got it too. I think its all people who interviewedI got that email even though I’m on the waitlist. You guys did too right?
Also wondering.Does May 15 CTE date still apply for WL Applicants too? Like so does rhat mean there’s only gonna be like a week or two of WL movement ?

Generally speaking, most As off the WL have their own deadline to commit (could be a couple days after your notification, could be a couple weeks) especially since some As will be given after 5/15Also wondering.
Yes loldid you guys also get a text about the MD/MBA program?
It was probably sent to students on MD only Waitlist. They’re trying to get more students interested in the MD/MBA program. What did the text say? I’m on the WL for the MD/MBA program… was it only sent to students with an A or to all students who’ve interviewed?
Congrats! is it for the MD/MBA program?JUST GOT OFF THE WAITLIST!!! OOS A +1 🥳🫡
Just for the regular MD program!Congrats! is it for the MD/MBA program?
you don't need to take the GMAT/GRE, your MCAT counts for that. You just need to write a PS about why you want to study business and get one LOR, then do an interview. Definitely still something you can do - at the end of the day Miami wants people doing dual degrees. More tuition in their pockets and they get to keep their title as the #1 med school for dual degrees. For people doing the MD/MBA program, I am interested but I have 0 business experience. Is it still something I can do? How about the GMAT / GRE? Did accepted students already take it?
If I may ask, when did you interview?OOS A yesterday!!!!

Sounds good but if it was in that range?“Practice FLs: 510–512 range, taking in May”
Take the MCAT
Then yeah, you have a “shot”. But no one can definitely say yes/no. We aren’t in admissions rooms, we also don’t have a concrete score for you.Sounds good but if it was in that range?
Is this supposed to be a test to gauge our interest 😭Why give me a campus tour email when I'm not even accepted😭
You can submit your FAFSA if you want but they require a CSS Profile for financial aid consideration which costs $$ to submit. You could submit if you want but may feel a little silly if you send it in and get rejected (at least this is my thinking since I’m also on the WL)Does anyone know if waitlisted applicants are supposed to submit financial aid documents now, or only if we get accepted?
I did notFor those of you that did sign up for a tour, did you get a confirmation email?
