Just really hoping we weren't interviewing for a WL spot. Second look is April 15, so I would assume it would have to be at the very least before then.

Also, their admissions tracker is at a much lower value than it was last year at this time. Makes me think we have a better chance (maybe?) Last April they accepted 290 apparently (pulling from last year's SDN thread)

Yeah, they seem to be behind their schedule based off of last years timeline too. They already had formed their tiered WL by this point and had done their pre-ii rejections earlier in the month as opposed to this week... Hopefully this means its not that we are interviewing for WL slots, but they are just being slower than last year. The issue with the admissions tracker rn is that they haven't updated it since February 11th :/ So its so hard to get an accurate gauge. I bet they will update it again when the tiered WL is released agh this is so nerve wracking when you have no As yet.
 
So nerve wracking, I'm in the same boat. I've set up my phone to basically explode with notifications whenever I receive emails from schools lol.

There have been 7 more acceptances on this thread since feb 11 (yes I counted I'm that neurotic). So they're at 170 give or take. Probably some more out there, since not everyone is active here, but the next big wave of As definitely has not gone out yet for them. Which gives me some hope.

I am glad someone else is as neurotic as me... (though I am sorry you also are stressed outttt). I agree, there seems to be another wave of decisions likely for all of us in the batch that received our invites Feb 20th or later. The fact that they call for acceptances has me terrified of my email because it seems that an update via email = WL (I could be wrong, thats an assumption I have made from stalking this thread). Even if we do get WL, there seems to be a lot of movement post-PTE, though waiting even longer is torture.

Join the club and put their admissions phone number in your phone as a saved contact. Praying for the day I look over at my phone and I see OUWB calling!! I do not wanna miss that call!
 
Is anyone who has an A here planning on withdrawing? Want to get a sense of how realistic it would be to come off the WL? Does anyone anticipate any movement off it?

Last year they made it to tier 2 of the 2 tier WL, so hopefully that holds true for this year too.

Curious what the class size will be along with how many offers have already been made. Per their admissions tracker which was last updated in Feb, it's at ~160. Hopefully we will see some activity for WL.

I wonder if we got our WLs today, and people will get As tomorrow.

Last year's SDN thread had some WL movement in May, so sadly we'll probably have to wait at least another month for a decision.
 
Just a friendly reminder if you've been accepted and are not planning to go here, please please please withdraw your acceptance so that those of us on the waitlist can have a little better chance 🙂
 
Does anyone know how effective letters of intent are for this school? Got waitlisted and wondering if it's worth sending one considering how many people get waitlisted for this school. Also not sure if it would help sending one before or after the waitlist tiers are sent out.
 
Anyone know how many people they actually waitlist? Can't find any info anywhere on waitlist size.

Technically the language was "by mid April", so honestly it could be any time. Last year they did it back in mid-end of March right after their final As and WLs, but they seem to have interviewed later this year so who knows. I think second look is next week, so that also is probably a date in their brains in addition to the 3 As timepoint like you said.

Hopefully people start withdrawing after second look too, once they feel like they truly gave the school a chance. I think its truly just a waiting game and it could be any day, any time :/ Scary to feel constantly on edge but we got this 🙂 Last year there was heavy WL movement so hopefully that holds true (they got into tier 2).

I'm really hoping that I am at least on tier 1. It was nice to see a lot of tier 2 people come off the WL as well last year but I feel that being on tier 1 has a better chance of hearing sooner too!
 
2nd tier- I’m pretty disappointed. In the original WL they said they were going to 2-tier it, but in this they mention 3 separate tiers? Any clarification?

It seems they did that last year too. You could always ask, but if no one reports a tier-3 on here I am guessing that its 2-tier. That said they DID get to tier 2 last year, so hang in there. It is not over for you, it may just take longer to get off which is stressful! 🙂 You've got this <3
