I’m not sure exactly, I was referring to this document and haven’t searched in depth for previous years. https://students-residents.aamc.org/system/files/2025-04/MSAR009 - MSAR Waitlist Procedures.pdfOhhh okay thank you! Do you know how many it was the year before that?

I called yesterday, they said the same thing as the last two times. They plan on revisiting the waitlist but don’t have a timeline.can someone call and ask if they're at class size and if they anticipate any more movement lol I've called too many times atp
oh lol my sdn didn’t update before i posted haha glad to hear more will probably be comingi called and they said they're expecting to give out more acceptances in the next few weeks
When I got an A on May 7th, they said we have until May 21st to make a decision about the offer. I think you could be right with them waiting until those two weeks are up to fill some remaining spots in the class. I hope you guys hear good news soon 🙂I called yesterday, they said the same thing as the last two times. They plan on revisiting the waitlist but don’t have a timeline.
I think someone else previously said that admissions told them they would likely have two weeks to make a decision if they come off the waitlist. Perhaps someone who already got off the waitlist can let us know how long they had to make a decision? If that’s true, I’m thinking maybe they’re waiting to hear back from everyone (two weeks would be tomorrow) and then will do another wave.
KappaChungusDeluxeWe should hear back soon now that the deadline to commit has been exceeded!
I so hope so, my CTE deadline is next weekkkAny hope today 🥲
Nope.Has anyone gotten their financial aid packet after getting off the waitlist?
Making you commit without financials is wild wowNope.
wait i called yesterday and they said they "definitely expect movement in the next week or so"... i'm not sure why but we're all being told different things? can someone else call and confirm?just called, apparently they're at class size and WL movement will happen if people withdraw :/
the woman i spoke with said it very confidently too like there will DEFINITELY be movement in this upcoming week. she said it without hesitation, no mention of being at class size. now i'm super confused...what is going onnnnn lol
if there might be movement but are unsure, i'm confused why the lady yesterday said there were will definitely be movement sometime in the next week or soI wonder if they weren’t supposed to let anyone know they were at class size (so people wouldn’t drop off the WL) so they were told to just say there might be movement but there’s no timeline, and someone accidentally spilled the beans
lowkey i'm praying your info is right because when I called on May 6th someone told me they expected WL within the next week and then the next day they had a wave of Asthe woman i spoke with said it very confidently too like there will DEFINITELY be movement in this upcoming week. she said it without hesitation, no mention of being at class size. now i'm super confused...
I emailed them last week asking and they sent me mineHas anyone gotten their financial aid packet after getting off the waitlist?
the side of me that’s in denial wants to think they said that just to keep us from calling them every other day hahajust called, apparently they're at class size and WL movement will happen if people withdraw :/
I hope a few weeks secretly means tomorrow or Monday 💀okay friends, i called to see if i got any of the answers the others did this week, and they told me they “anticipate revisiting the waitlist over the next few weeks” but didn’t have an exact date. i also asked if they knew if there were spots available for people on the waitlist and she said she didn’t know that information
Next few weeks💀💀 especially when a lot of people’s CTE deadline is within a week or so.okay friends, i called to see if i got any of the answers the others did this week, and they told me they “anticipate revisiting the waitlist over the next few weeks” but didn’t have an exact date. i also asked if they knew if there were spots available for people on the waitlist and she said she didn’t know that information
I so feel they're at class size but for some reason don’t want us to know that, that would make sense about them not having a timeline since they’re just waiting for people to drop. I hope not thoNext few weeks💀💀 especially when a lot of people’s CTE deadline is within a week or so.
But no one has gotten off the waitlist since May 7th or so right like since the first wave there hasn’t been movement?
Why would they not want to tell us lolI so feel they're at class size but for some reason don’t want us to know that, that would make sense about them not having a timeline since they’re just waiting for people to drop. I hope not tho
No idea but they are being confusing and crypticWhy would they not want to tell us lol
we will miss u ❤️ Pitt didn’t deserve uMy CTE is today so it was nice knowing ya’ll and I’m hoping people with no acceptances get off the WL ASAP🫡
Oh wow… thank you so much for asking. I think this confirms that it’s a low chance for waitlist movement for people with early CTE deadlines.Hi everyone I called just now and they said that they are at class size right now and that they will only visit the waitlist if spots become available. I asked if they were referring to people dropping before the commit to enroll deadline, but they just repeated that only if spots become available. I would assume of course that refers to people dropping. The person I talked to mentioned that more acceptances would be given if they went below class size. I asked for clarification if they were not planning a larger wave of acceptances such as at the beginning of May, but they said they didn't have information on that.
So, if that info is correct, then I would guess that there is a low chance of more acceptances except for maybe a couple in the next 4 weeks but probably nothing major or sizeable like the beginning of May. Maybe someone else who hasn't called yet could call and see if they say the same thing since there were varied responses in the past.
