Oh shoot I forgot to send thank you emails as my interview was right before the holidays+life got hectic with a new job. How seriously do they take those?
I am pretty sure they do their interview assessments immediately after the interview! So I don't think they truly have any effectOh shoot I forgot to send thank you emails as my interview was right before the holidays+life got hectic with a new job. How seriously do they take those?
my interview group was told that the ad com does like to see thank yous, so even if they now won't impact your interview assessments it might still be worth sending so they can be uploaded to your file if you have time 🙂Oh shoot I forgot to send thank you emails as my interview was right before the holidays+life got hectic with a new job. If by the holidays you mean near Thanksgiving I feel like it hasn't been too long to be awkward to send them now just in case/for peace of mind 🙂 You can always qualify it with a "please accept my apologies for the delay"Oh shoot I forgot to send thank you emails as my interview was right before the holidays+life got hectic with a new job. For the thank you emails, did you guys attached a doc for the thank you, or just wrote it in the email? Please let me know. Thank you.I am pretty sure they do their interview assessments immediately after the interview! So I don't think they truly have any effect

Yeah no merit aid. From what they insinuated not much aid is provided and the encourage us getting outside scholarshipsAnyone who has attended the financial aid sessions, was anything about scholarships mentioned? I was under the impression that they didn't have merit scholarships.
Also, 54 days until decisions lets go!
What outside scholarships exist 😂 I’ve seen some, but they are for first gens, minorities, veterans, etc. I don’t fall into any of those categories.Yeah no merit aid. From what they insinuated not much aid is provided and the encourage us getting outside scholarships
There are plenty, a lot are for people interested in certain specialities, for medical students from certain geographic areas, etc. Google is your friend. What outside scholarships exist 😂 I’ve seen some, but they are for first gens, minorities, veterans, etc. I don’t fall into any of those categories.
I forgot I signed up for a date and didn’t show up, I agree I hope these don’t matter lolI interviewed at Pitt in September and signed up for a few informational sessions thinking I can try to go but I’ve missed a couple since a lot of them are during my work hours. Would this reflect negatively on me?
+ 1 💀💀💀I forgot I signed up for a date and didn’t show up, I agree I hope these don’t matter lol
It is okay to send now if you are 100% sure it is your top choice and you will attend if admitted (letter of intent=100%, interest= top 3 from what I have been told). If you are not 100% sure, do not use the word intent and instead call it a letter of interest. I'm not sure benefit now vs after though.I saw some people here already sent letter of intents. Is it worth it to do so pre-decision if we are pretty confident we would matriculate here if given the chance?
got no reason to believe otherwise atm. TrustAre we expecting decisions to come out on exactly January 31st or whats the vibe with that
from what i remember, mine was hosted by MS1/MS2 students (no faculty on the call) and it was very chill. i didn't have my camera on for some parts while i was eating dinner lolJust signed up for a student group chat information session. It's during my work schedule. Is this event a camera on/buisness casual? Is it still hosted by Dr. Piraino?

Got an email from Mr. DouglassDid yall get emails for the II or did you only find it in your portal?
Not sure, they assigned me a date for mid-Jan and said that I could reschedule if the date didn’t work for mecongrats!!! so exciting omg. how far out are they scheduling the pstp interviews as of rn?
I don't think so. Send one if you have one!Is it too late to send an update letter on newer activities? I already interviewed in October.
woah my checklist doesn't even ask for that 🙁quick question: As you guys know the portal for secondary app for pitt - does not have a function that an updated transcript is uploaded.
Also, the application checklist says "please provide a copy (PDF) of an official transcript directly to UPSOM"
so, should I send a transcript via Parchment or I send an email with pdf attachment ?
That makes so much sense! 🙂 I wish you the best!!well I'm a special program candidate. So, the process is different from the regular cycle. But, I just want to make sure if it is meant for me to send an email with official transcript attached or send it via Parchment.
i did! i don't think we'll hear back until after January 31. during the information session, they mentioned that only those who are accepted or waitlisted initially will be invited for a PCAT interview.did anybody apply to the PCAT program? if so, have you heard anything back?
Sicko mode, thank you!i did! i don't think we'll hear back until after January 31. during the information session, they mentioned that only those who are accepted or waitlisted initially will be invited for a PCAT interview.
My student interviewer told me they use in-house exams but they're NBME styleDoes anyone remember if they have in-house exams, use NBME, or both? Admit.org says in-house but during the interview day someone asked and I could swear it was NBME written exams.
