OOS Priority WL yesterday.

I was scrolling on here yesterday wondering why it was taking so long for a decision (II in Jan) and low and behold, got an answer 5 hrs later lol

when do folks get put on regular waitlist cause so far I haven’t seen anyone say they weren’t put on priority waitlist

Wow I wish they would have just given the heads up that everyone on my Jan interview date would only get WL or R … the trend continues. Got me excited the last 8 weeks for nothing sad
 
pretty bummed as a late interviewer.. does anyone know based on past years when they tend to start waitlist movement?
 
I know there is priority vs regular but are these WLs ranked?
 
Any 2/10 interviewees still waiting? Seems like everyone is getting waitlisted though haha

Praying someone who interviewed after New Year's posts an A soon bc I'm lowkey devastated... this was the school I was holding out hope for because it has such a historically high post-II acceptance rate, only to come to this forum this morning and discover that the class is likely full. This will be my 4th waitlist... gonna bedrot now.

Hey! I know it can feel disappointing to be placed on any wait-list but like others have commented, there is typically a lot of waitlist movement around/after the CTE deadline. Having a later interview may increase your chance of the waitlist but that is not indicative of the school's desire for you. If they didn't see the potential for your success or want you to attend they wouldn't have offered an interview in the first place 🙂 If it's any comfort, I was placed on priority WL and then heard back in May and was able to switch my acceptance to here. Many of my classmates were as well.

do you happen to know if any acceptances will be offered at all? Or will all interviews after early jan be waitlists …….

Yes there will be acceptances! I believe the Jan/Feb got their acceptances around end of March/early april last year and we had current classmates who joined all the way up to June coming off the waitlist

It's hard to know as I haven't asked everyone but I'd say around 1/3? There was a huge movement from May-June (~30-35) of people joining the group me but you don't know if that's due to not finding it before then or if they were just accepted at that time

Here's to hoping, Netter is my top choice and also hoping for any waitlist movement from the 7 WL Im on.

I thought that for every other school, your interviewer submits the eval immediately after the interview. Is that not the case here? How would they even remember anything about us after a few days lol
 
would hearing back at this point mean either waitlist or R? i haven’t seen any As reported recently :/

This does not seem to be the case, since on interview day they explained that interviewers have a time frame for when they should submit evals and delays in decisions are due to submissions not lining up with committee meeting times.

You can still get a scholarship later on! Fin aid information is usually available around the time the pre-mat checklist is sent out (April) but it can be updated with scholarships all the way up to the first day of class and there are also opportunities during the year that you may receive a donor-matched scholarship (dependent on how well fundraising/donor contributions go for that year).

I think it usually has movement. I assume around May.
