Hey anyone who's interviewed already, do you remember how long the Kira assessment took you? I'm wondering if I can complete it prior to my faculty interview or if I should just plan to do it after everything is over. I've got an hour between the introduction and the faculty interview.

They tell you when to complete it, half the group before and half after the long interview. It shouldn’t take long

Is anyone able to share if there will be written prompts on Kira? Or just verbal?
Vanderbilt finally updated the tracker! They’re at 466 interviews now, or roughly ~64%
Hi hi, do you know how many interview invites they send out in a given cycle?
They interviewed 721 last year according to the MSAR! (466 / 721 = 64-65%)

lol even if reviewers do ive had a few interviewers clearly who only skimmed my application right before hand which is understandable given they're doctors who see actual patients

I vaguely remember from interview day that we should send letters of interest early-mid december or february. Does this apply to both letters of interest and letters of intent? Or is the letter of intent only for people on waitlists/after main decision waves? It is a bit early so perhaps it might seem hasty to send a letter of intent before december decisions...?

they said that letters of interest have little to no bearing on decisions, letters of intent should only be went after a WL notification
So it would be best to save the letter of interest until I have some big updates to include right?
Decision day could be this Friday according to last year’s data. How we feeling?
I checked msar and the earliest date acceptances are released is dec 20
I think they released decisions on Dec 15th via phone call last year. MSAR is not always accurate. My money is on Dec 13th or 16th

Based on past threads they seem to release on the third Friday of December, so I'm guessing the 20th. Also, in 2019 they released on Friday the 20th.

I think you are right! Just checked VUSM’s website and it said “For this admissions cycle, we will be releasing decisions in two waves:
Late December: First wave of acceptances will be made.
Late February: Second wave of acceptances will be made.
Early March: The third wave of admissions offers will be communicated via phone and email.”

It seems to be an incompatibility of Tapatalk app and the newest iPhone update. Deleting Tapatalk then reinstalling it works for some users

Anecdotally I have friends who received interview invites in Jan, so hopefully not 🙂
tough to say for certain, but based on last years cycle track data i think there will likely be more wave(s). Also, the admissions tracker is somewhere in the 500s II sent out (no specific number since it hasn't been updated for today's wave). From MSAR, they will likely interview into the 700s.

No, they said during my interview day that they over-admitted last year so they are going to be more conservative this year. I take this to mean the first wave will likely be a bit smaller than years past and they will rely more on the waitlist.

There's still the rest of the day. Over on the washu thread some guys got calls at 5:40 pm CT for example
