yay interview completed, now the wait begins
Bruh lol they scheduled early August interviews? That's crazy. I wouldn't expect any news any time soon as they want to get a feel for their applicant pool before releasing decisions. Or maybe you'll get placed on hold because they can't accept you yet or get a WL or R (does Wayne do many post-II R's?) sometime in the next 1-2 months.

How was the interview?

are there some questions posted that are likely to be asked?
i don't remember the mmi questions but they were pretty standard, the other questions asked by faculty and the student were also super basic and basically just expanding upon what you said in your application or answering the kinds of questions you'd write about for secondaries, like "whats your biggest challenge" or some basic stuff like that

Great thanks! I’m interviewing next week

Great information! How long were each of the interviews (Faculty, student, MMI)?

Not to be too neurotic, but was getting on to the interview simple? Like do you just press a button on interview day and you're redirected to the virtual interview? I interview Friday and just don't want to worry about this part of it.

Yep. My interview last year was just like entering any other zoom meeting.

Great thank you! Best of luck with this cycle. I always see you in these threads and last years as well.
i actually made a mistake on the interview day but was lucky to not have it affect me, there will be blue boxes to join the zoom inerviews, make sure you look at all the blue boxes every time one of the interviews starts since for the first two interviews there will be two blue boxes that you have to click, one for the interviewer and one for a "shadower" to listen in on the interview, luckily my shadower didnt show up even tho i forgot to click on the shadower blue zoom box

So you join each zoom interview individually? It’s not just one continuous interview?

This is actually kind of confusing. They should be able to send the interviewees to the breakout rooms they select and have whoever they want to be listening in should already be there.

I'm not understanding the 2nd part of this question. When it asks about potential challenges to pursuing a career in medicine, would this literally be like cost of schooling, uncertainty of location for a large chunk of the future, etc? Or is it more nuanced than this?
You should probably get more personal than finances or location.

For ones who already took the interview, What are some questions they asked in the MMI? Would appreciate any input/tips 🙂

all the mmi stuff is situational and incredibly specific scinarios like ur a pizzeria owner and a guy crawls inside demanding you cook him what do you do? just do practice ones cuz i literally don't remember any of the specific questions but i found them easy after doing practice

Yeah I got it! But it's because I haven't submitted my secondary 🙁

Okay cool thank you! Would you still apply to Wayne if you had a sub 500?
Personally I would not unless everything else in your application is outstanding and you are from the Detroit area. I would prioritize DO schools, but thats just my opinion, you could post in the WAMC thread to get opinions from people with adcom experience if you want more focused feedback.
