Bruh lol they scheduled early August interviews? That's crazy. I wouldn't expect any news any time soon as they want to get a feel for their applicant pool before releasing decisions. Or maybe you'll get placed on hold because they can't accept you yet or get a WL or R (does Wayne do many post-II R's?) sometime in the next 1-2 months.yay interview completed, now the wait begins
Yea starting today, they do Monday and Friday interviews. First day was today. Wayne is way earlier this year then lastBruh lol they scheduled early August interviews? That's crazy. really chill actually, you should practice the mmi questions for an hour or so before thoHow was it?
are there some questions posted that are likely to be asked?really chill actually, you should practice the mmi questions for an hour or so before tho
i don't remember the mmi questions but they were pretty standard, the other questions asked by faculty and the student were also super basic and basically just expanding upon what you said in your application or answering the kinds of questions you'd write about for secondaries, like "whats your biggest challenge" or some basic stuff like thatare there some questions posted that are likely to be asked?
Great thanks! Yes I got an IS II.Did anyone receive an IS interview invite? From what I have seen so far on this forum it's only been OOS.
Today or before todayYes I got an IS II.
Did you get an interview invite on 7/18? Thats early!I got it on 7/18 and I submitted 7/8.
IS rejection today. Best of luck to everyone who's left!
+1Did anyone else just get a text message from Wayne State urging them to submit a secondary application?
Not to be too neurotic, but was getting on to the interview simple? Like do you just press a button on interview day and you're redirected to the virtual interview? I interview Friday and just don't want to worry about this part of it.yay interview completed, now the wait begins
Just got that email as I read thisOn ramp email despite interviewing soon 👍

Great thank you! Best of luck with this cycle. I always see you in these threads and last years as well.Yep. My interview last year was just like entering any other zoom meeting.
Bruh scares me everytimeWayne State is killing me with these promotion emails

i actually made a mistake on the interview day but was lucky to not have it affect me, there will be blue boxes to join the zoom inerviews, make sure you look at all the blue boxes every time one of the interviews starts since for the first two interviews there will be two blue boxes that you have to click, one for the interviewer and one for a "shadower" to listen in on the interview, luckily my shadower didnt show up even tho i forgot to click on the shadower blue zoom boxGreat thank you! So you join each zoom interview individually? It’s not just one continuous interview?i actually made a mistake on the interview day but was lucky to not have it affect me, there will be blue boxes to join the zoom inerviews, make sure you look at all the blue boxes every time one of the interviews starts since for the first two interviews there will be two blue boxes that you have to click, one for the interviewer and one for a "shadower" to listen in on the interview, luckily my shadower didnt show up even tho i forgot to click on the shadower blue zoom box
This is actually kind of confusing. They should be able to send the interviewees to the breakout rooms they select and have whoever they want to be listening in should already be there.i actually made a mistake on the interview day but was lucky to not have it affect me, there will be blue boxes to join the zoom inerviews, make sure you look at all the blue boxes every time one of the interviews starts since for the first two interviews there will be two blue boxes that you have to click, one for the interviewer and one for a "shadower" to listen in on the interview, luckily my shadower didnt show up even tho i forgot to click on the shadower blue zoom box
yeah theres like 7 links for each interview that you join at specific timesSo you join each zoom interview individually? It’s not just one continuous interview?
Did they ask any questions that you felt were out of nowhere?Yes, and they asked me if I had any questions
You should probably get more personal than finances or location.I'm not understanding the 2nd part of this question. When it asks about potential challenges to pursuing a career in medicine, would this literally be like cost of schooling, uncertainty of location for a large chunk of the future, etc? Or is it more nuanced than this?
Just finished interviewing. Amazing experience. Just be yourself!
Thanks, you as well!Congrats!! Hope u get the A
all the mmi stuff is situational and incredibly specific scinarios like ur a pizzeria owner and a guy crawls inside demanding you cook him what do you do? just do practice ones cuz i literally don't remember any of the specific questions but i found them easy after doing practiceFor ones who already took the interview, What are some questions they asked in the MMI? Would appreciate any input/tips 🙂

per their website the lowest MCAT that has been accepted was a 504 and per cycle track a 503.Does anyone know if anyone from Wayne got accepted with a 498 MCAT?
did you not submit your secondary? Double check the portal.Did anyone else get this email?
We notice you have not completed our secondary application. We are eager to learn more about you as an applicant and encourage you to submit your secondary application and materials as soon as possible.
Okay cool thank you! Would you still apply to Wayne if you had a sub 500?per their website the lowest MCAT that has been accepted was a 504 and per cycle track a 503.
Yeah I got it! But it's because I haven't submitted my secondary 🙁Did anyone else get this email?

Personally I would not unless everything else in your application is outstanding and you are from the Detroit area. I would prioritize DO schools, but thats just my opinion, you could post in the WAMC thread to get opinions from people with adcom experience if you want more focused feedback.Okay cool thank you! Would you still apply to Wayne if you had a sub 500?
