For the ED applicants, they updated their admissions tracker and it says 22 admissions offers were given out. Hope you all heard some good news

I received an acceptance on the same day and interviewed during the first week of september.

Did they send out regular decision admissions early last year as well?

They usually start right on October 15 or whatever the first day is every year depending on if it falls on a weekend

Ok! I wasn't sure if they admitted regular decision earlier because this year they let early decision know before Oct 1st, which was supposed to be the earliest date

For early decision, October 1 is the deadline, not the earliest date. For regular decision, October 15 is the earliest date, not the deadline.

Is anyone else considering the three year program? I’m not sure where to actually apply for it.
I think you can apply after you’re accepted.
I would have done it last year for psych, but not this year since it’s not offered.
Is the earliest we'll hear back for a regular decision Oct 15?

Yes!
You’ll be sent a “tertiary application” that you’ll be able to fill out after gaining acceptance into the standard 4-year program. 3-year MD application typically isn’t due until pretty late in Spring, so there’s plenty of time to get accepted into the traditional program and then apply afterwards. I’m in the 3-year MD program and remember struggling to find any info about it when I was applying, so if you or anyone else ever has any questions about it, please feel free to DM me! Good luck!

I scheduled mine for later in October but I responded to the invite within a few minutes. Spots just filled up quickly

I wonder if it even makes sense to attend the interview.
Am seeing on here folks got their II two months ago.
Why do you ask that? they will be interviewing for several more months.

I am a first-time applicant, but I agree the process is quite difficult and mentally tolling. However, if you have an interview, you should most certainly attend it. Even if you are hesitant about this career path due to your experience with the process, I would say to still attend the interview and do your best, and if you get an acceptance, you can evaluate whether you want to take it or not.
It is better to know the "what if" than wondering the "what if" in 20 years. Goodluck, and hope things work out for you.

Brother there are people here that will never get an II from Wayne so try to have a more positive outlook. Everyone is dealing with the same messed up system we just have to work with what we have.
Been applying for four years with four interviews in that period. Only reason I was ever given was “I don’t know why you didn’t get in, your interviewers loved you”. Process sucks but even getting an II is a privilege many don’t get. Take the interview.
