This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I feel you. I still didn't get a II from any of the 26 schools I applied to 💔
Me too! It's either been total silence or Rs. Hang in there 🙂

Interviewed 10/7 am i delusional to think i may have a decision by the 15th date everyone is referencing?

For anyone who has interviewed at wayne st., do you have any tips for a first-time interviewee? This is my first II and it is next week. I understand that I should be myself, but any tips for preparing for the traditional interviews and the MMIs would be greatly appreciated!

Traditional questions are very normal, conversation was relaxed, just use the regular interview resources on SDN to prepare for that.

MMI was a little fast paced. I generally don’t really prepare myself for MMI’s because it’s hard to do so. However, I would familiarize myself with the Casper structure for answering the questions. There’s a lot of reddit posts about it. Other than having a general format down, not much else you can do except find practice scenarios online (some might disagree).

One thing you should focus on is always putting the patient first. The purpose of the MMI isn’t to answer the prompt correctly, but they want to follow your thought process, and how you analyze a situation.

Are we all staying up until midnight? I saw from previous threads they sometimes release at midnight.
Well yeah. Oct 15 only happens once a year we have to celebrate by staying up! I mean I’m always up until that time anyways. I’m PST so I guess I’ll check at 9:00 pm too. Hoping for A’s for all of us!

Lucky, but I may just put on a movie and wait up since I'm EST.

So I think it will be either at midnight tonight, or 11:00 AM EST tomorrow. I could be totally wrong but just a prediction based on last year and previous year threads.

If I interviewed on 9/20 should I be expecting a decision tomorrow? This is my top choice school and attending would be a dream, I'm so nervous

I know alot of people that heard back in 10 days after they interviewed with WSU. That was post-october 15 though in past years, not sure if pre-october 15 is different but i'd say its not impossible to hear back by tomorrow i'd think! GOOD LUCK

at least we know their emails are sending to our inbox. Getting ready for tmrw 😏

This is my first cycle applying. Do rejections/waitlist also come out on Oct 15th in the same way?
