Is Wayne waiting for people accepted of the first wave to make decisions? It’s been like 20 days since the admissions tracker updated

maybe a little, but if people haven’t gotten off their waitlists by then, they might commit to wayne and withdraw from the waitlist since there is no guarantee they’d get off at other places

Fully depends on the people who CTE. If enough do to fill the class there will be no movement. Honestly with the little movement they had and the fact they overfilled last year I don’t see it moving much.

But they have almost gotten to 700 acceptances the past 4 years, obviously things could change this year but it’s at 615 rn.

I’m hoping that means they’ll pull like ~85 more. But I think the silence is a bit concerning even if it is before the CTE deadline.

Got rejected last year the day before classes started. They keep quite a few on the WL until the last minute. Unprofessional but until the country decides to stop these predatory practices in healthcare it won’t change.

I’m not an admitted student. But I checked FB and they have 327. I’m not sure how many of the 327 are incoming M1s. And I’m not sure if they’re all matriculants or just admitted students

they accepted 1 person since the CTE deadline passed. I think their class is probably full. Plus according to MSAR waitlist procedures they said they have a waitlist of 600 applicants and estimate to pull 200. They’ve only pulled 88 off of the waitlist. In past years they accepted anywhere from 680-740 applicants. But I think this cycle we’d be lucky if they get up to 635. Think we got screwed by high yield rates this cycle.
