its hard to say for sure without knowing your full application. That being said the average western U matriculating student has an average GPA of 3.6 and MCAT of 510. So your gpa is just is little under their average. There is more than just stats that determines whether you get accepted or not though! I would recommend posting your full application break down on the WAMC SDN forum and I am sure some folks would be happy to help you out!

No “official” word. I remember them saying after the interview if not by December 20th, then this week. Therefore hoping tomorrow for everyone’s sake, but wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more delays with holidays and all.
 
interview coming up this week can anyone speak on the interview experience? for the panel and MMI

I’m guessing those of us waiting for a decision and interviewed 1/16 and 1/17 are prob gonna hear back from tomorrow to 2/4
 
did anyone email back after receiving the consideration for an interview email? my final lor didnt submit until early last week and app was reviewed the following day - was sent the consideration for an interview email and wasn't sure if i should follow up at all

Really? My update didn’t mention the class being full… they just said “we have selected you to be an alternate… Please be assured that we are very much interested in the possibility of your matriculation” UGH at least it’s not an R I’ll take what I can get but still I’m tweaking

This was the same email my daughter got. It's a weird one.

Oh interesting I guess there is a difference between alternate and WL bc I got the alternate list… hopefully there will be lots of movement for us

Seeing all these results has me wondering will they finally give me a secondary or straight up R me 🙁

No fr… I’m looking at last cycle’s thread and it seems like they were also confused and I’m not exactly sure what the difference is… I’m looking on their website COMP Alternate Candidates and they don’t mention anything about a diff between alternate vs WL… tmrw morn im going to contact an admissions counselor and see if I can send a LOI or an update and see if that will help 🤧
