I'm 9/10 and haven't heard back but I'm guessing if not today maybe next week
Okay thanks I was getting worried. Knowing the decision whether an R,W, or A is better than being in limbo. Goodluck with your cycle

Just got my mcat score back and scored a 495. This was my retake (first score was a 491).

I REALLY want to go to CHSU-COM for various reasons but I saw that their mcat minimum is a 500 to apply. I guess I’m just wondering if that’s a strict number or if they’ll consider my application even with that score. Overall I have a pretty good app, good extracurriculars, and a good GPA.

Or should I still turn in my app and retake for January?

Please any advice would be appreciated. Ty in advance

Edit Forgot to mention my score breakdown is 124/124/122/125
if they've posted a minimum mcat score, its unlikely they will budge from that. the best you can do is email admissions for advice and see if they can make an exception. im not sure if a january retake would count for DO schools, it may be too late, you should ask them this as well.

Just email admissions doesn’t hurt to ask maybe from a friends account. I asked about the DO letter requirement and they said it’s fine to just use two science letters which I did

Has anyone recieved the link to pay the seat deposit? its been a week for me and haven't received the email yet.

Did anybody else's portal change to now having an "update letters" and a "letter of intent" option? I haven't received an II.

do not go to this ****ty school. your mental health will suffer if you're not a academically strong student.

Can you elaborate on this pls
based on your stats so far, you seem like you will do fine. tbh they just treat people differently. if you are on dean's list, you can get away with cheating. but they do implement rules every year that prevent that. like this year, everyone has to have privacy screens. if you know the higher ups, you can get away with things. not all staff is nice, they will make fun of students in front of them if they don't pass classes/board exams. it just isn't always a supportive environment.

they made someone delete a reddit post because they wrote so much **** about the school. i'll just say whatever others have said on reddit is true and I agree.

if you want to know more, ask away on reddit. I bet if you ask why one should not attend CHSU, you will get so many responses.

How is pre-clerkship years at CHSU? How are the mandatory TBL sessions?
