They do not give status updates. I interviewed in August and when I emailed last week to ask about my application status, I got a pretty standard response.Interviewed in November and haven't heard back. Do you think it's fine to call/email them for a status update?
Bummer. Thanks for the heads up.They do not give status updates. I interviewed in August and when I emailed last week to ask about my application status, I got a pretty standard response.

There are 100 students in the GroupMe so far
Wait that's crazy. They said in my interview that they're increasing their class size to 160, and they have to have offered the seat amount by March 15th. This means close to 80 acceptances are supposed to go out in the next 3 weeks??There are 100 students in the GroupMe so far

For sure. But it still looks like they've only given out 1/3-1/2 of their total acceptances for this cycle. Seems really slow to me.I think not everyone has joined, they just sent out the group me link 3 days ago.

ISIS or OOS?
Have interviewed in Sept and heard Nothing since then. Called to ask about an update and just got "your application is still under review". Anyone know of chances of still getting in this late in the cycle based on last year stats?

Interviewed in November this year and also interviewed last year. We are likely not hearing anything until May/June.Have interviewed in Sept and heard Nothing since then. There is no official waitlist for this school. if you’ve been interviewed and not accepted at this point, you basically are on a waitlist, they just don’t call it a waitlist.Has anyone received an email notification for waitlist? Does this school ever publish waitlist ?
but do they post interview reject people before the waitlist? or does everyone get put on the waitlist? There is no official waitlist for this school. if you’ve been interviewed and not accepted at this point, you basically are on a waitlist, they just don’t call it a waitlist.
And they say on their admissions page that they do notify for WL but i know last year they didnt send anyone anything.

I don’t think that’s fully accurate. There is evidence of a formal waitlist. I know a current COM-T MS1 who received a waitlist email last year and was later accepted. There are also recent reports of post-interview waitlists on admit.org. In addition, the 2026 MSAR states they typically waitlist around 35–50 applicants. My understanding is that those of us who haven’t heard back are likely in a “continued review” pool rather than an unofficial waitlist. That means we are still being actively considered for remaining seats. From this group, some applicants will be accepted, some formally waitlisted, and some may never receive a clear update. There is no official waitlist for this school. if you’ve been interviewed and not accepted at this point, you basically are on a waitlist, they just don’t call it a waitlist.
I think the perceived ambiguity we're looking at comes from how the school handles rejections. There are very few reports of post-interview rejections, both this cycle and in prior years. Also, a few years back they fully exhausted their waitlist. I think this suggests that they keep a broader pool of borderline-waitlist/soft-reject candidates before finalizing decisions. Given that they were still sending acceptances as late as June last year (per MSAR) , and from what I've heard are currently still working through later interviewees, it seems like the COM-T cycle is just unusually long and nothing can be conclusively said about who's on an "invisible waitlist" yet. I wouldn't say anything conclusive until around May or even June.

This is all good to know, I was also under the impression that they did not have a waitlist. In my opinion, if there is a formal waitlist then it is even more unacceptable that they do not promptly reject those not put on the waitlist. I understand that they may be concerned about running through it entirely, but that just means they need to fix the waitlist system not leave people in limbo until literally July. They could even use the system that WesternU uses. I interviewed last cycle in November and heard nothing until the middle of July. I interviewed again this cycle in November and haven’t heard anything yet.I don’t think that’s fully accurate. There is evidence of a formal waitlist. At the very least they need to communicate. Even COM-Phoenix sends update emails every couple weeks.
Com - P moved most of the AC candidates to Waitlist ( eventhough the waitlist is not ranked). They were periodically communicating that they are still in the game unlike Com - T. Com T sent waitlists to MD/PHD Student that they are waitlisted this year. So there is a waitlist system that they have. But I don't think they send anything for MD students. This is all good to know, I was also under the impression that they did not have a waitlist. In my opinion every candidate who interviewed a long ago (mine was Aug ) have the right to know the status.

Haha im so fed up with this school I interviewed in September have not heard a single word from them their administration is horrible can't even get them on the phone after an hour. Luckily have an A to a different school glad I don't have to take the remaining pre-reqs though b/c how do they expect to have additional pre-reqs but ghost applicants and expect them to take these classes without a decision until July....
