I applied to the American University of Beriut (but have not heard back). I'm not that concerned, since I did get into another school in the U.S. Does anyone know if upon graduation from the American University of Beriuts' medical program, you are considered a graduate student in the United States (such as with other foreign med schools) and need to do extra accreditation? Or are graduates considered M.D.s just as if they graduated from an American medical school and are able to practice right away? Thanks!!

Graduates from that school are IMGs like any other foreign school. The only schools that are domestic are those schools located in the US and Canada accredited by the LCME. That list is here

Unless you have a desire to live there for a few years or something take whatever you got in the US, whether it be MD or DO. Otherwise you'll have to jump through the hoops to get your residency/practice here and to me it seems kind of impractical if you don't have to or really really want that out of country experience.
