Auburn c/o 2020 applicants

My friend interviewed the 9th and got the call that she was accepted. Her last name starts with R.
 
JUST GOT THE CALL!! SO EXCITED! My last name starts with D so def not alphabetical. I interviewed last thursday

My stats: 21yr old male (1st time applicant)
Overall GPA: 3.48
Science GPA: 3.53
Last 45: 3.89
GRE: 157 / 159

Overall thought my GPA would hurt me because its fairly average but I still got interviews at all 6 of my schools so to all those out there with average GPAs, YOU CAN DO IT! Just find something that makes you stand out.

What committee were you interviewed by? Maybe thats how they're doing it?
 
It sounded to me like Ms. Kaye was doing all of the phone calls, so it's going to take awhile! Don't lose hope! Did anyone get their call from someone other than Kaye?

I think that is how it is going to go... We will only receive a call if we are accepted, waitlist or denied will be sent emails...

True! If it's just her doing the calls that may take several hours if it's more than a minute per call. The class is usually 120 right?
 
Yea my call was definitely from Mrs. Kaye and she mentioned that her daughter had just asked if she was still at work so it sounds like she is staying late to get a bunch done. Can't say whether or not it will all be done tonight though!

I really hope calls are still being made!!! Wouldn't they send all alternates and decline emails at once?
 
my interview was feb 5 with the Nova group and still haven't heard anything yet
 
My call was from a guy so there's at least two people making the calls!

I think Dr. Givens and Kaye both make calls. 38/40 contract seats (KY residents) are interviewing in early March.

When did you and your friend receive your respective decisions? Also first letter of last names?
