BJ voted to lynch herself yesterday. I don't know if that's a ballsy wolfy psych-out move or a lame villager "I no longer care anymore" move. I can be convinced to switch back to BJ today before 10 PM. I can also be convinced to vote for someone else who people believe to be wolfy. I just want to recalibrate my ability to hunt for wolves, since I tend to overanalyze and end up shooting the villagers in the foot with false positive wolf reads. Even in past WW games. In other words, I almost just need to do the OPPOSITE of my gut feels in order to land a wolf lynch. Like, I had no idea about snowy earlier in this game -- had I just gone with it, I would have been successful. I have no idea about sheltermed, so maybe doing the OPPOSITE of my gut will magically turn sheltermed into a wolf. Similarly, I trust WildZoo to be a villager this game, so maybe if I do the OPPOSITE of my gut, WildZoo is actually a wolf. I dunno.

He's sheeped me twice. I think once when I voted pickles, he followed. And when I voted SAR, he followed (and made it a 3-way tie). I've never followed him in voting. FWIW, I'm not defending MJ at all, just taking what you say about him holding a grudge against you to heart. How am I absolutist?

But here is my point: the maximum number of your village reads that they can kill is one per night. Do you only have 1 village read? Is there not a protector still hanging around here? I'm not sure why secrecy about your (potentially flawed, btw) read list is suddenly mission critical

I ISOed allie to try to see why people were voting for her and nothing really stood out to me. The only thing that kinda set off feels was from D1 with the stagg/AM thing where she wanted AM to stop questioning him. I'm trying to decide if it's villager trying to stop wolves from getting too much info or wolf trying to look like they're trying to help village. Voting record isn't the best but I'm not convinced she's wolfy

I disagree you are not defending him a little bit, and you used the word "definitely" as in "he definitely is not a wolf if you are still alive." And that is a weirdly extreme statement to make when you have just received the background information 30 seconds prior.

You can assume as the day goes on that people I'm unwilling to vote for or don't question in an accusatory way have a checkmark or two in the village column for one reason or another. It'll probably be a safe-ish assumption. It's not about my list in isolation, either.

He has a history of wanting me dead when he is a wolf because I have a decent track record of getting him lynched. Usually involves a little bit more of a temper tantrum about how I'm a pain in the ass and bad at everything, though

Don't like that explanation much -- feels kind of weak -- but ngl, these two past lynches felt a bit more like village-village ties to me. Slow as molasses, both times, with minimal thread involvement from people

Please explain to me how that giant quote wall with the "I forgot why i quoted these" is insightful? And how conveniently her wolfiest lean was a dead villager?

She was outlining her thoughts on the thread and derped in the process. She also mentioned she had feels for sardines and pickles, and expressed her disagreement with Strog. These posts aren't groundbreaking but they aligned to her village play because she tried to give similar thoughts in past games that came out sketchy but she was in fact village.

When I was reading the posts, I thought one of the main reasons behind the shelty lynch was she wasn't active and was lying under the radar. I just wanted to point out that despite her inactivity, she tried to give some thoughts on the game. They aren't compelling and she failed to answer followup questions but I think that's part of her village meta.

I realize you felt shelty's posts were sketchy and weren't satisfying. I felt the same way in past games when I played with her and her posting style was giving me sketch feels but she flipped village. Not a compelling defense of shelty's play I know because it's not much to work with. I'm just going by feels, meta and similarity in her posting style that I saw when I was totting.

Well cheezit has only ever lynched me when I'm a villager, so not sure where you got the idea that he's good at reading me.

Genny didn't seem overly interested in lynching me. She mentioned me a couple times, sure. Don't think wanting to look into me is an indication that she had a lock wolf read on me.

It's just a convenient place to store thoughts that aren't ready for the thread yet. I can't say whether it happens more often in pre-vet than the lounge...I've done it both places.

Hey, put yourself in my shoes! I've not once played a game in the Lounge where this really happened, so it's a total rational thought for me to go, "Hmm, wait a sec."

But now that Pippy vouched that this is normal behavior, see how I changed my mind with new information? That's how rational people think. No crazy train for me. 🙂
