I got to silks way too early and now I’m just sitting in my car waiting for it to be a socially acceptable time for me to go inside 😔
I was about to say that I've never had this problem in my entire life, but actually I did get to silks an hour early once because I had the wrong time in my head

Well it's a bit jumbled because dream, but I think the point was the bounty is useless if the person who it is on ends up dying during the day. Like maybe it ends up affecting night actions somehow if it's on someone who doesn't get voted out.
This was discussed slightly with Vis’ statement that bounties do not seem to have an effect on NAs, but what if Chaos’ attack (the only one that’s been claimed) is actually related to the bounty on him?

I have also seen vis get a little like that before, but never seen shorty play anything more or less than even-keeled.
Can you name a point when Vis was that upset? I’m not remembering anything for her, but I have definitely seen rage!shorty a couple of times.
And ofc the three of you are hard tr ing each other like in most other games. So I expect atleast one of you is going to be very surprised.
That is not accurate, which was already pointed out. However, what if all of them are actually village? We read each other and put the people we feel good about into the village bloc. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I wouldn’t imply someone is going to be a wolf just because their friends are town reading them? Maybe I’m not getting your point there.
Yeah, she didn't, it was kind of just twisting WHY people were voting for her. I pulled a couple of quotes:

Bolded the parts that felt a little twisty to me, although on reread, they're coming across differently to me than they did last night and seem more like frustrated village exaggeration.
I don’t know if they’re wolfy or village, but they are definitely an exaggeration. I want to lean that wolfy, because why lie or exaggerate how you’re feeling if you aren’t going to use it to manipulate others (as a wolf would)? But I know villagers also get frustrated so maybe her exaggerations didn’t seem as extreme to Vis because she was so worried about being yeeted?

I think the reason that I'm hesitating to read it wolfy is because she hasn't tried to use it to push sus on the people who were on her vote, which is what I would expect from a wolf trying to find some misyeets. She didn't get retaliatory about it (the point that AM made before). It feels more like genuine frustration in the moment because it didn't persist afterward.

What do you look for from wolf!Dubz day 1? Have you caught her early game previously?
Pushes and interactions that ping me. I haven't had the opportunity, she hasn't been an OG wolf, while I've been village since Emojis, and only non-OG in shots, where I was starting to wolf read her, but let the mechanics convince me otherwise (never seen an early conversion into a wolf protector). How are you reading Dubz? Do you disagree with my read?
What would be the specifically wolf motivation for claiming an attack?
Getting village read.
If your AM read is based mostly on a lack of wolf pings, why is she in village while alley is in neutral when you say she sounds like she’s wolfhunting?
I'm better at reading AM than I am at reading Alley, with one memorable exception.

I did look back at England and felt like the content of Barks' posts was different there from what I've seen so far in this game.

That being said though, she doesn't have a village game since she's been on clinics that I can compare to - but I do feel like there's a noticeable difference.

Kinda Sketchy is my middle name. Zenge Kinda Sketchy 142 s
Omg do we have the same middle name?

Is the difference that I used to think I was tired but now I'm actually tired?

I have distant plans to actually find quotes but most recently how he has been pushing chaos getting notifications as sketchy. It just feels very pingy to me
Do you feel Chaos could be village?

I really haven't. I've said multiple times that this isn't a major contributing factor to my reasoning for reading chaos the way that I am, and was simply noting it as a curio, and have since dropped it. Other people keep bringing it up with me.

There was some exaggeration because I was mad and to emphasize why I was not a good vote. I still don’t think it was that much of an exaggeration, though. I didn’t have any wolf reads, there were multiple people with very few posts and little-to-no content, those that had more content I felt okay about, and we were coming up on a few hours from close with little discussion or serious votes. So I put a vote on the closest I had to a wolf lean, with the caution noted that it was based on very little and I was very unconfident in it, to stimulate voting and discussion so I could hopefully get some better reads. The crowd goes wild about how wolfy it was that I was so cOnFiDeNt (if anyone’s being twisty and lying in this situation, it’s that. Just saying.) in my read of her. So… either I was wolfy because:
- I placed my vote early, instead of clutching it until last-minute waffles in the hopes of suddenly having an epiphany about a wolf without doing my part to stimulate voting;
- I voted for someone who had few posts, and you should always be mindful that this makes people easy misyeets (I agree, and I try to avoid voting lowposters D1) and never vote them D1 even if you don’t have any wolfy pings from high posters (I strongly disagree); or
- I didn’t have any wolf reads at that point in the game (5-6 pages into D1)

I never said it was your only reason or anything. Just that reading it gave me bad feels

I have definitely seen rage!shorty a couple of times.
It looked weird to me that cubs thought it was so unprecedented, but tbf I don’t remember which games and whether he was in them. I’m gone back and forth myself in whether it was evidence of village rage or of shorty being frustrated that she randed wolf so soon after wolf hydra. I’ve landed on villagey, largely because I don’t think shorty would be that spicy with mkg about her play if she knew mkg were a villager sincerely doing her best villaging while burnt out on WW instead of avoiding thread for wolfy reasons.

Getting village read.

I’m reading her village, but she pretty much always sounds village to me and I always feel very uncomfortable with the knowledge that I have yet to catch her wolfing.

I don’t think that being attacked would make someone any less likely to be a wolf in a game apparently full of opportunities for death, and I assume that wolves would come to the same conclusion. I don’t think chaos saying he was attacked is AI (unless we later get more context), and whether he’s wolf or not I think it’s much more likely he’s telling the truth than not.

The last point makes sense to me, thanks.

It didn’t ping me that cubs and chaos thought it was weird, tbh. I don’t think I’ve had a game where I really lost my temper since England (and even that one, it was more that I had a meltdown and cried, and most of that was in my role pm and a pm with genny). Neither of them have experienced rage!shorty before.

Just approaching this from a different angle, why mkg over the other low-posters?

Because I felt completely neutral on the other low-posters, but her tone felt more in line with postconversion than preconversion from last game, and I felt that a conversion game would be a good kind of wolf/same-game-village-control meta comparison.

It seemed like there was more dramatic and theatrical language and emotion. As village she seemed more relaxed when joking and more measured with most content posts, which she posted more of at the beginning of the game than here, and when she did get more worked-up, it was because of dramatic events in the game (village noobs refusing to role-reveal for self preservation; mkg missing Bread’s role reveal before yeeting him). As a wolf and here, there felt like more theatrical language in jokes and when pushing people in non-PANIK sotuations, more AtE, and more prodding people with questions/plausibly-deniable-as-just-a-joke-replies feeling out whether she can get sus going on someone (this is how I was reading her exchange with you and her reply to Z)

Not particularly important because my way of trying to read her was wrong, but if you want to see if my reasoning makes sense, the posts informing it are here: BoWWnty Hunting (2022) - Game Thread (chronological order, so village until “oh my god how did i miss this oh god oh fahk” and then wolf until “hello is anyone here? Bueller? Bueller?”)

Why genny? Is there more to your read on her than what you mentioned yesterday regarding her comment to Zenge?

Those things plus gut feels on D2. Same feeling I had the last time she wolfed and I picked her out from D1. Can you and @WildZoo explain what you meant by "I got the opposite feeling" about the comment she made in regards to chaos and keeping everything about notifications to yourself?

No, I don’t think I want to explain that right now. You not knowing how I’m interpreting it is a data point for me though.

Echoing what shorty said, better not to explain I think

Well then I dont think you can use my interpretation against me or think its not a legitimate read.

I think you are too far into the tunnel.
