I plan on using DropBox for all my vet school notes and stuff. Mostly as a backup in the unlikely event that my brand new laptop decides to do a nosedive in the middle of the year. Since it will be mostly Word or OneNote documents, there should hopefully be plenty of space for me (maybe?). Which reminds me, I should really start playing around with OneNote before school starts, since I think that's what I'll use as my primary note taking app.
I have a Google Docs account that I really only use for group projects. Google Docs just feels a little too clumsy for everyday use, but maybe that's just me. I haven't touched my account in several years though . . . there are some interesting things in there, I'm sure.
I use Evernote for all my lists. Even stuff like recipes and grocery lists are great in Evernote, because I can check things off as I go along. I have the app on my phone, which is great because I usually think of things to add to the list when I'm out doing something completely unrelated. Since I always have my phone on me, I can just add things to the list right away instead of waiting until I get home, by which time I will have completely forgotten what it was that I needed to do. Plus Evernote automatically syncs to my Kindle, my laptop, and my online account so I can access the lists from anywhere I need to.
What did vet students ever do without technology? 😱
