I'm running out of steam and there's still so much I have left to review for our cumulative physiology final tomorrow. Thankfully, I don't need much to pass the course which at this point, I am happy with.

On the bright side it's our last final and me and my boyfriend and another couple have a cottage rented for the weekend complete with an outdoor hot tub. I doubt I'll even care about physiology at this time tomorrow.
 
Just neuro written and practical tomorrow. Learning all the things for the first time tonight. Yay! Almost done. Almost done. Almost done.
 
I just cannot study anymore tonight- really lacking motivation... so I'll get a bit done in the morning before I attempt to drive home. Not looking forward to the trip... But anyway- hope Neuro goes alright tomorrow...
 
This Neuro final next week is going to murder me. On the bright side equine castration lab on Saturday!!!
 
If we had a "panic here" thread, I would probably be using it.

Last final of the semester, physiology, today. I haven't been able to muster up the motivation to study for it as much as I should have. I would have to completely bomb it to fail the class and yet the fact that I'm still concerned is concerning.
 
Just 2 more and then I am freeeeeeee!!!!! I am spending the rest of the day in my bed snuggling with my cats and watching TV. And maybe cleaning the pigsty that my house has become this week.
 
The more I study for Physiology, the more things I discover that I got wrong on the Anatomy final. I am getting really really scared that I won't pass this semester. :bag:
 
So jealous of all of you that are done! I have one last final on Monday and then I'm done.
 
DOONNNEEE!! SO happy to be finished!! I got done with my exam today, quickly drove home to pick up the dogs, and got on the road. I got 4-5 hours behind me tonight before stopping in Indiana on the way home due to the weather.
 
So happy to be done with first semester! Took the most glorious nap today!
 
Andddd I can't sleep after how exhausting this week is. Fun times.
 
Dear Snow Gods,
I would be forever indebted if you could see to it that my plane takes off somewhat on time tomorrow night. You can move the storm to tonight, Monday, the day of my return flight, or even dump snow on me for the rest of the winter as you see fit. I just want to get home.

Yeah, I was the same last night. I couldn't sleep at all. Washing my sheets tonight so I will have that fresh smell to hopefully overcome a week of anxiety and bring on that deep sleep I so desperately desire. I have worked out the probable wrong answers on my exams and feel like I can move on. I am hoping this bottle of wine does the trick. I has a cute frog on the label, so I am betting it's a good one. :heckyeah:

I think I've had that wine and it was good. congrats on finishing the first semester!
 
Im not done until Thursday. When I will go down in a ball of flames during this neurology final.

For us it's a half-credit pass/fail (based on attendance) course. Once a week someone comes in and lectures on something about the veterinary profession. We had talks on substance abuse, integrated medicine, the human-animal bond, stress relief, lab animal medicine, etc.
 
I passed first semester!! Didn't do as well in one class as I wanted, but I'll be here next semester!
 
Hooray for us moving on!!!! Time is already going to fast and break is slipping away. I did at least get the trash gathered up in the house and kind of piled the laundry in piles to get done. Oh, and all the dirty dishes are at least closer to the sink. :heckyeah:
 
My house almost resembles what a clean one would look like! Even the barn is no longer disgusting.
 
Most of our grades are up and I passed everything with room to spare. PHEW! Still waiting on two grades but they're for classes I'm certain I did well in, so I'm not worried.

Definitely need to refine my study habits for next semester though. My current methods are too time consuming and probably won't work with even more classes next semester.
 
Two days of finals and they start tomorrow for me... SO ready to be done studying...
 
Long time no post! This semester was pretty tough. But I survived and am excited for next semester! Im currently on vacation... spending some time in NY with my hubby before we drive down to Nashville for Christmas. We have about 2 feet of snow on the ground and I am in heaven! I love winter 🙂 . Happy to hear everyone made it/ is finishing up 1st semester!
 
When you think you rocked an exam and then get the grade back and its not what you expected. =(
