I really don't have any motivation this weekend to study for my upcoming anatomy exam. I'm so worn out by these exams already. We have 4 next week. At least this block is halfway over now.
 
I'm president of surgery club and secretary of SC-AAEP 😀 I have no idea how to run a club D:
 
Vet school loves to ruin the weekend.... by having an anatomy written and practical on Monday... Why must the Super bowl be This weekend?!?! I have been so focused on the 3 exams we had this week that ive put Anatomy on the back burner... And now I am regretting it 🙁

Same boat for me. We have a Pharmacology exam on Monday, so my whole class is upset. Apparently we tried to see if they would just move the test to Tuesday because we have Pharm lecture during the same times, but it can't be done. I don't really care about the game, but I like watching it with friends and enjoying all the yummy appetizers. Since I'm so behind on my studying, I doubt I'm going to be able to really watch any of it.

We have a pharmacology exam on Monday as well. 🙁 Professor said there was nothing he could do about it.

There was a lot of hoopla last year when we moved an exam. Hence, the no moving exams rule after the schedule is finalized. Sorry :/
 
Three more classes just got filed away, Respiration, Cardiology and Reproduction. A lot of people really disliked the repro exam but I actually thought it was fair. We'll see when we get grades back exactly how fair it was though. That means that we have this weekend free. Next week we start large animal anatomy, renal, muscloskeletal and hematology.

Im amazed how different schedules are.

I also started a blog, it has reminded me that I am a horrible writer.
 
Was gonna go to school to study today, but then it snowed all last night and it's still coming down. Maybe I'll get something done. Netflix marathon later is sounding pretty solid.
 
Tonight, I am doing anatomy not because I have to but because I want to. What?
 
Anatomy written and practical exams tomorrow. My brains don't want to work. I think I might just give up and watch Sherlock with popcorn and a glass of wine and study more in the morning...

Nonsense. You need the cold to appreciate the warmth. 😉 And it's going to be -15F on Wednesday, so you'll get a good amount of appreciation. :laugh:
 
Fate didn't want me to go to pharmacology this morning, so I didn't fight it...studying for pharm exam today instead. Left the apt in time for class, but a moving truck was blocking me in. Finally got out knowing I'd be a few min late for class. Got to school - no parking spots. Finally someone moved their car and I zipped in. Now class is about. 1/3 over. Oh well, I could use the study time.

Cross your fingers for us here at Mizzou... the university is supposed to make the announcement at 8pm tonight on whether school will be in session or not. I could really use the day to get caught up on sleep and notes since this weekend was dedicated to anatomy.

Super jealous. We might get a storm on Wednesday so I'm already crossing my fingers.
 
We are on standby. Won't know till morning. I originally didn't want a snow day cause I hate making up stuff on unscheduled hours, but I kind of threw away too much time this evening to effectively study for a test tomorrow, sooo, yaknow, if it wants to go full out snowstorm...

While I don't really want to make up a surgery, I would be okay with a snow day at this point. Cardiopulm isn't really going...

Yeah mine usually is too because we're cheap on the heating...also I live with two girls so that's not really a thing. At least not if I want to leave my room at all. Not at home though 😛

You're a good man roomate. Mine tries to be nice as well and keep pants on. But he sure does complain about it!
 
Best part of snow day: having a cider with lunch. Hoping it will motivate me to get some things done...
 
I am feeling so motivated right now! I am going to get 100% on that Nutrition final tomorrow, damnit.

This will disappear as soon as I'm in the anatomy lab. That place just sucks the life out of me.

Can't let it happen! Go motivation go!
 
SWEET SWEET SUN! You have eluded me most of the winter and doused me in darkness. I have had no energy but today you decided to shine and I didnt feel like I was going to fall asleep right when I got home. I rode my pony in a T-shirt and it was glorious!
 
Our snowstorm turned out to be "Oh that's pretty. Guess I'll go ahead and take this test and spend the next three hours in parasit knowing that I will be right back here tomorrow with one day left to study for another exam."
 
Got rabies today....rawr!
 
For those of you that own....do you find shooting things to be good stress relief? I think it would be a good outlet and boy do I need one....

So maybe I want to buy something when I'm done this unrestricted course. My family would crap their pants, but it would be fun....

I'm assuming rabies vaccine...Our class started our 1st shot today too.

So glad I got mine done over the summer because its A) almost $500 cheaper and B)I had almost every reaction on the list and would have not to able to go to school for a few days or study/take my anatomy exam Friday. Here's hoping my titer's are good for 4th year!

I really enjoy it. To me it isn't the same stress relief as like a good long run, but it takes your focus off the stressors. My husband has two back home, so nothing up here though.
