Well it's the last day of an amazing Thanksgiving break.. I really should get some studying done today (especially respiratory physiology...)

Only 3 weeks left in this semester!!
 
That was a much-needed and much-appreciated break. 😀

I can't believe we're almost done with the semester already.
 
No break, but only two weeks of finals left starting tomorrow and I'm outta here until January! 😀

Though I think I just now realized you are actually in vet school... I um, have a difficult time keeping track of who is who and where at in the process now. 😳

I don't even have the slightest idea where you are at for school, but that is ok, doesn't matter. Vet school is vet school. 🙂

Haha. I have a hard time keeping track too, and it sure doesn't help when I listed myself as prevet. Oops.

I don't want to say on the public SDN forums right now where I go to school, because I don't think I'd be very anonymous given other things I've posted on SDN. But I'll PM you. 🙂
 
One more week of classes, 4 exams, and then I'm headed home for the holidays. 😀 I can't wait, I miss my family!
 
Finals start on Friday. As in 3 days from now...Why am I not panicking yet? There's SO much to go over. I mean, we're STILL LEARNING NEW MATERIAL OMG.

At least we got to learn how to handle instruments and start basic suture patterns today in skills lab. That was pretty neat.

Okay. Back to anatomy studying I go.

The bolded is definitely the worst. Especially when you have 7 finals Tuesday-Friday and still have 2 days of class Monday and Tuesday. It's not here yet and I'm already not a fan.

Whew, you have it rough! We only have 5 finals. But we're only on CN II in Anatomy and have just one more lecture period... :scared: Thank goodness for upperclassmen that have tons of materials to help us study.

Good luck to you and everyone else slogging through. We got this!

We're also learning new material immediately before finals start. And some stuff isn't even covered in lectures because there's no time, so we get to learn it on our own right before exams. :dead:
 
Week 1 of finals down... Just four more next week and first semester of vet school is OVER and I get to go home for a month! And eat all the Chipotle ever. 😀

We start finals tomorrow. This pretty much sums up my situation:

Last day of classes for the semester = DONE! Exams start Monday. I think I can do this (you know, if I get off SDN and actually go study....)
 
We still have another week before finals. I can't wait to be done.
 
3/5 DONE! I flew through Immunology this morning and came home and crashed. A solid 4 hours of beautiful, sweet sleep. Oh, how I missed thee!

Physiology on Thursday and Histology on Friday, then I'm blowing this popsicle stand!
 
Can't believe classes are finally over! Now just to survive finals...
 
Physiology midterm in the morning. We don't get a formula sheet. The one I made, just on material since the mid-semester quiz, is 5 1/2 pages long (including translations of what all the symbols mean). I hope I know more than I think I do....
 
Three more exams stand between me and BREAK!!!!
*almost there, almost there, almost there*

...of course it's only the hardest 3 left (sigh)....

ME TOO! I'm DOOOOOOONE. Ahhhh! I can't believe it! I know it's only the first out of many, but I'm so excited to have successfully completed this semester! And I still love school!

Finished immunology today, now for a frightening biochem exam Monday, then histo Wednesday, then done!

Is anyone planning anything especially fun and exciting over break?
 
Sleep is for the weak. At least, I remember the end of that block being one of the worst finals weeks.... but good luck @Ashgirl!

We're vet students. Sleep is a strange, exciting idea that we don't fully understand.

My exciting plan for the break is to relax. 😀

Probably not exciting for you all to hear about...but I get to see all of my old friends over break! And be in my brother's wedding!

AND I will finally have time to read a book! (I love reading but I can't let myself read during school time or I won't study for tests ever, haha)

Anatomy is in the books, now just behaviour Monday and I'm free 😀

Fun plans would include seeing my hubby and son... this long distance thing SUCKS!!

Reading non school books is fun and exciting! My big plan for the first 2 weeks is lots and lots of sleep. The third and fourth weeks I'm doing an externship.

@Squeaksmom: That does have to suck! I hope you have a great holiday with your family!
 
Kinda random.. but I am planning on getting a couple rattie friends and wanted to see if anyone had any tips?!
