Surprisingly there are very few online. There’s also a short sleeve women’s version that just says Michigan State veterinary medicine (no “college of”)

Derby loves a good squirrel watch, but prefers to run perimeter to keep those goshdern squirrels off her lawn! She would have loved a good trail run in her younger years but OA is catching up

Not sure, but we're stuck with each other, now! She will curl up into the crook of my knees at night, and enjoys necks scratches when sleepy... but if she's awake, then oh hell no. When we're walking in the street and people put out their hand to pet her, she'll do one of those Matrix maneuvers and duck her head out of the way

Yes, little black & white was a Hurricane Irma refugee. She was sent up to NYC and adopted in November 🙂

I had already thought of marsupials! The problem I’m having is that I have to find a journal article about my topic and present the article. And it needs to have been published in the last 20 years so I’m having a hard time finding articles about general physiology topics that are recent 😡

I'm impressed your lab shares the bed, my parent's lab somehow absorbs an entire queen bed to himself.

Reproductive physiology of marsupials!

I did a repro physiology paper on parthenogenesis in reptiles once and had a discussion about the development of obligative parthenogenesis in some species and whether facultative parthenogenesis truly exists in certain species or if it's truly more of a reproductive accident than an intentional survival mechanism for when mates aren't available. Interesting topic that had some unique papers about it from my memory.

How about the physiology of gecko skin? My professor invented the product Geck-Skin and he has a lot of his research published on the adhesiveness of gecko skin! His name is Duncan Irschick 🙂
You could also do cheetah spines (they're super springy and elastic!)
