Those both sound really interesting! I had to have my topic turned in earlier in the week though so I already chose something else. I found a study on decompression sickness in sea turtles!

I wish they would do it sooner though, I don’t think we get registered until May 1 and I wanna know my schedule nowwwwwww because I’m impatiently excited

I wish the scholarship apps were out now and we had a bit more time to work on them than smack dab in the middle of summer.

I also went furniture looking for things I might want at stores that are also in WA...I'm extremely picky :whistle:

However, I found this super awesome couch that is leather, reclines, has a cup holder and storage, but best part it has removable mini desks that would be great for setting my computer on one and writing on the other if I sat in the middle. Unfortunately only this one store has it (I thouroughly investigated online) and they won't ship to WA unless I bought $8k worth of furniture so nevermind.
If anyone is curious: Gray 3 Piece Theater Sectional

pstttt it's probably going to be the same as 2021 and you guys should be able to see those if you've made you vetmed account
 
They didnt give us the real schedule since we are the first of the new curriculum but they told us what classes and like the dates they will run! August will be a long wait for the real one!

I think my friends family has something very similar if it’s not the same thing! (But theirs is 4 I think?)

Considering I’m in school until June 8, I don’t mind that the scholarship app isn’t open yet. If it was, I highly doubt I’d spend time on my schoolwork :whistle:

True dat. There are so many scholarships we get emails about that I'm sure all of two people apply for because it's like...who has time to write an essay in the middle of a semester?

Damn that thing is niftabulous! Also, I like how you are looking at a 3 seater to monopolize left and right desk space 😆But, those seats do look comfy! I’ll take a two seater for Z and me, please! :hello:

Hahah thanks man! Let’s be honest, though — It’s because foreign-born, brown man (not the TDH kind sadly) :hilarious: Checking off all the boxes!! Also, you know that feeling when they think you’re awesome, but secretly, you’re like oh sh** sh** sh**, chill guys, chill; I’m not actually THAT awesome?! Yeah that... hahaha!

Also Z has to maintain that good lifestyle while I’m in school. Premium cuts and unlimited toys to destuff etc. 😎

One for the laptop and one for writing. Or since they swivel I can push them out a bit use my lap too. Maximum space utilization without purchasing a desk and sitting in an uncomfy chair. Really it's like a 4 in one though: I can sleep in the recliner, I can sit on it like it's true purpose, I can study from it, and I can use it to eat on- no kitchen table and chairs required lol

Random (probably dumb) question that I wasn’t really sure where to ask.

I’m sending out grad announcements and including on them that I’ll be starting vet school in the fall to eventually earn my DVM.
So would I say “to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine” or “to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine”? Help 😵

I think “Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree” is probably the best.
Most schools pages seem to refer to the degree like that.

I'm doing my undergrad at WSU right now and when I go home for Christmas and Spring break I take orders from people at home who want Cougar Gold. I have taken home 19 cans for other people 😵 And home is only 4 hours away from Pullman

P.S. Around Christmas time they sell out fast. Get it early or it will be gone
 
My last finals in undergrad are the last week of April and it's crazy to think about!!
The next few weeks will be filled with crazy last minute assignments/topics from professors
I'm ready for the summer break though!!!

I recently watched Broadchurch on Netflix and it was really great. Love those British crime solving series. Currently watching Luther (with Idris Elba, I definitely have a man crush on this dude), and it’s getting all sorts of psychedelic... but I think I’ll continue to watch when I can/have time!

Omg, you're almost to finals and my spring quarter literally started last week. Switching from the quarter system to the semester system is going to SUCK! My final (last pre-req) is June 13th...NCSU orientation starts July 31st. And I have to move across the country in between! :dead:

LOVED Broadchurch! Did you watch River? Also awesome. The Killings, the Fall, and Happy Valley were great too. Tabula Rasa was good but not the best. Also just realized Idris Elba was in the US version of The Office.

Benedict was so good in the Sherlock series! Yes to Killings, but have to check out the others! Thanks for all these! Clearly I'm behind -- so so many things to watch!

....What they need to do is bring back Firefly/Serenity...
 
Just shared my stats on Accepted Applicant stats with my decision as I always dreamed of doing! I chose Minnesota, but trust me toughest decision of my life!! Thought I was heading toward mental break down just making a decision 🤣

Don't even start with me. CSU had measured my jacket size and all that and I was looking at some of those Alaska working dog externships and then Penn called and ruined it all!! Rob was like, "Yo! You haven't accepted yet? Well damn, let's throw some $$ at the problem!" @raf2769 knows I struggled for a while, but like I said, if I could find a way to make sure Z was happy (live on some green space and access to hiking) then I'd do Penn! I suppose CO will have to wait for another day -- maybe residency?? 😉 You have your reasons for picking the school you did and it's done now and you'll make it work!
