as for fluff I know human!fluff very well but I’m still learning wolfgame!fluff. I know that for the last several games pretty much every one has started with AMW pressuring fluff and fluff getting kinda defensive, so it seems like that exchange is par for the course and nai

honestly curious if you ever catch wolves on d1? Or have at a better rate than a random dice roll? It seems pretty random to me at this point though I do believe d1 is relevant in retrospect, since once you know how people flip you can look at their commenting and yeeting history and start putting pieces together, but I feel like with the lack of information we have now + the funkiness of the multi faction mechanics + the amount of noobs in this game it’s really hard for me to infer anything substantive through the thick fog of first day awkwardness

to be fair, i came in 3rd place in champs and won all 3 of my games as a wolf without ever being yeeted, fear me mortals

I really have no idea how to feel about this. My initial reaction was I hated it and it felt like a big misdirect look over there.

I’d say my playstyle is more of “village until proven wolfy”, whereas some of y’all seem to be “wolfy until proven village.” I understand the strategy of going hard for wolves immediately, but in past games, I know I personally have a sucky wolf-dar and end up hard regretting my yeet choices. For me, D1 is more of an information gathering stage to plan night actions, as I believe information gathered at night usually ends up being the most useful for trapping wolfies :9

How much had you played before your noob game?

I just checked and it doesn’t seem like I expressed it in that game. There’s a lot more games I watched from the backseat with fluff. It’s just the general approach of pressuring everyone for everything feels intense whenever I see it. My first game I ragequit cuz I got overwhelmed from Mel pushing me for not having more logic than I laid out. The second game I think I never had much to go off of. Again my main reason for suspecting you this game is less your style which I now understand is nai but rather your reaction to my joke which isn’t much to go off of except I haven’t seen anything more substantial to vote on anywhere yet

Hate to be “that” guy, but trying to gain sympathy from real life events is potentially wolfy. I have done it, I have been taken in by it ( I haven’t forgotten @DVMDream , and have seen it other times). Chica is on my potentially naughty list.

Also I would like to share my vast knowledge of Fodlán lore :

Althoug the name 'Ashen Wolves' may seem wolfy specially with the context/history of the house I dont think they are likely the wolfpack here. So if you are one read your role pm and wincon to check if you are a wolf or not .

As a fact, Ashen Wolves are the DLC house , and if anything, would fit more as a 3P , or villa faction rather than an actual wolfpack.
But that it's up to the Host, so no point in speculating. Just wanting to prevent maybe a noob or someone without that knowledge thinking they are a wolf when they maybe aren't.


The procedure here should be to at least for now, wolfhunt like we usually do because there is a confirmed wolfpack, and ignore other shenanigans at the moment because that could easily hinder us rather than help us achieve Victory

I think assuming that anyone who is focusing on wolf hunting is a wolf is looking at things entirely backwards, sorry. Wolves would be more likely to take advantage of the faction setup to direct attention elsewhere. No reason for them to ignore it when they can use it to their advantage, or may even assume that everyone is focused on the other parts of their wincon. It's not like they don't know it's a faction game.

I modded Stranger Things so of course I don't really remember how she was behaving at the end of that game.

At this point, I'm leaning towards thinking those who wanted to vote for factions have a faction eliminating role and maybe didn't see in the instructions that wolves are still part of the game.

But trying to eliminate wolves does benefit everyone except the wolves, so we should be united in this aspect.

I mean I’m on page 10 so I’m not going to say I’m 100% sure but I’ve also village read her on D1 and been correct since the last time I played with her and wolf read her I think.

I dunno, something feels off and to be honest I’m not entirely convinced if it’s wolfy or 3P-y yet.

Me too. I really didn’t think she was a wolf, which is why I hesitated jumping onto her wagon to break the tie until the last min. I expected her to claim some yeet avoidance or something. But she didn’t give any insight on how she might be alive.
